We booked a loft room and wow we were amazed by the views, the size of the room was great, balcony was a bonus, greeted by friendly staff, great location, clean and tidy rooms, kitchen with stove and microwave, spa bath, the bed was so comfortable and big. I would recommend staying here. We are from Adelaide and this Motel out does any motel we have stayed there. Ready glad we booked our 44th Wedding Anniversary to celebrate here
I will definitely be staying here again. The rooms are so clean. From the cleaners to the front desk is five star. My room was so clean lovely view of the river from my room. I really don't want to leave. Thank you for a enjoyable stay. Diane
Booked the Penthouse - it’s definitely far from a Penthouse. Bed mattress is so soft you roll in the middle massive sink hole. Shower curtain? Why are this still a thing Balcony no outdoor furniture, you wouldn’t be able to put chairs out there cause you sit on top of the air con fan and blowers hot air. What ever that disgusting thing in the kitchen is that is holding the tea and coffee needs to be removed. See photos Bedroom window faces the road and get noise all night. Not sure why this room was not on the rover front, we have stayed in the other rooms before and had better views and wake up to the river. This whole place is so outdated. So disappointed that the Penthouse is not the best room or the best position in this hotel. 1 star for location - this is based on where our room was located on the road side.
We went to the H2O restaurant this evening and had a delicious meal in a beautiful atmosphere. The view over the Burnett River was spectacular. It is the nicest restaurant setting in Bundaberg. Our server Kathy was so friendly and helpful and explained the menu to us. We felt very welcomed. We ordered the quail, prawns and rib-eye steaks. Every dish was delicious and extremely well cooked. The salt and vinegar chips were the best we've had. Overall we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend.
No working fan or ventilation in the bathroom (see photo with open vent full of dust bunnies to fall on you as you shower) which possibly explains the mold in the shower and the musty smell of the room. There's one window you can open to air out the room but there's no fly screen. See photos of thick dust on the beside table. Beds are very soft if that's your thing, but I prefer firm to manage chronic back pain (which of course is simply a preference). I will be ensuring my organization doesn't book this hotel again for work trips due to the poor hygiene.
