We’re currently staying at the InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, and it truly feels like paradise. From the moment we arrived, everything has been exceptional - the breathtaking surroundings, the warm and attentive service, and the ease of it all, even with our 6-month-old baby. There’s so much to do and explore as a family. We loved the hike to Pearl Bay with its stunning views, and sailing was an unforgettable experience. The resort is immaculately clean and well cared for, which gave us great peace of mind travelling with a baby. While there wasn’t an option to upgrade our room this time, it hasn’t taken away from the experience. The room we have has stunning views and comfortable, and the overall quality of our stay has been outstanding. You honestly don’t need to go to Fiji or Bali - this is world-class resort right here in Australia. The service has been flawless, and the range of dining options is great. Our favourite has been Pacific - their grilled dishes are absolutely top-tier. We’re still here, soaking it all in, and already dreaming about our next visit. Hayman is the perfect mix of natural beauty, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. And huge + for us from those who want to travel here with a baby
I absolutely loved this hotel and location. The boat ride from airport to hotel was spectacular. Staff were professional. During our stay the weather wasn’t great but we still managed to get out for some hill walks, we couldn’t avail of the free water sports. We are given a nice water bottle so that we could refill at the water stations throughout the hotel which was really welcomed. Food was fine dining …my only negative comment would be the hotel needs to improve on the entertainment provided during the wet season .
Stayed for a week with the wife and kids. They were very accommodating with any requests. The pool is huge so no matter how many people are in it you're not on top of each other. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Be sure to book all dinners and activities before you get there otherwise you're in trouble. The staff are exceptional. Great experience overall.
Amazing resort! Such a beautiful island with many attractions, great restaurants and magical views. Thank you to Dimitri who made our experience even more memorable!Everyone was lovely. We are already planning our next trip as we loved it so much!
Don’t waste your money !! 5 star hotel with Bed bug bites I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at this 5-star resort. To begin with, I experienced bed bug bites all over my son and my body, which is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, I had to chase housekeeping for five long hours, from 1 PM until 7 PM, just to have my room cleaned. When I inquired about the closed kids' club, the duty manager's response was less than satisfactory. There was no prior notice about the closure, and it was frustrating to have to suggest that a simple sign be placed on the door to inform guests. I also encountered unhelpful reception staff and rude concierges, which only added to my dissatisfaction. We had visited three years ago and had hoped that speaking with the GM would lead to improvements, but it seems nothing has changed—just another disappointing experience. It's such a shame to see a place with such potential in a beautiful location fall short in terms of hospitality , While I did meet a few friendly staff members, like Marco, Sakura, Heather, Sam from water activities, and the marina staff, they were far too few to make up for the overall experience.
