Nice venue. Sat in sports bar. A little busy with Poker Players. Decent prices if you have The Pass app.
Our absolute favourite pub. The food is excellent. Served our meals quickly, good value for the meal, and always great service. Harley is fantastic and really looks after people making sure to get the order right. Really greatful for his excellent service. Our favourite meals are the pizzas, parmigianas, and steak. High recommend!
Just stopped in here mid Sunday afternoon for a needed feed. The food was great well sized and priced. We also needed a jug of hot water to heat our new borns milk bottle which staff was happy to assist with.
Let's start at the beginning. We were offered the choice of two tables and then given the one that we didn't choose. We ordered a jug of drink and were given plastic cups where all the tables around us had glasses. I gave a two star rating because the mushrooms in the starters were absolutely brilliant. That's the only positive I have. My wife ordered the Thai beef salad and it was like someone had cut up a leather handbag and thrown some lettuce on it. The menu says rice noodles but the only noodles in the salad were crispy egg noodles. Being a chef I understand what they were trying to do with the pork cutlet it just didn't come off. The cutlet was well cooked but very oily from the deep fryer. The celeriac salad had too many capers and hardly and orange to cut back the salt and oil. I guess long story short we gave the tavern a second chance and we're disappointed again.
Outstanding meal on Saturday the 15th of February. Had the rump, rare, and it is easily thee best rare steak I have ever had. Well done to the chef. Thank you. BTW - service was perfect.
