Very light and airy. Did a walkin with 3 on a Sunday morning and nabbed a table. If you want a table away from pets that are brunching with their owners, then book a table closer to the kitchen. My mushrooms were yummy, the duxelle made it and the egg was cooked perfectly. Friend had the lobster roll and it was apparently delicious. The chocolate garden was a bit small for the price. The coffee was ok, bit of an interesting aftertaste but my palate might be a bit under-refined, who knows. The staff were friendly but tricky to get service. Overall, would happily return.
Very upscale vibe cafe in Newstead. The staff were super friendly and the interior is designed lovely and there's loads of space inside. We sat in the front "outdoor" area which was like a sun deck with the huge windows, very nice. The hot chocolate and peanut butter brownie were delicious and made me and my sweet tooth very happy. My partner got the fig and goat cheese omelette which was presented beautifully and tasted very creamy and light. The relish it comes with is especially good. Would consider coming back for a nice brunch occasion although slightly too pricey for a casual brekky out.
Gorgeous space and some interesting menu items. They were quite busy when we visited and unfortunately our group (10) had a few burnt coffees and overcooked fritters. Staff were lovely and majority of the food/drinks were great.
This is my second time at Industry Beans, the coffee has obviously been lovely every time. Food has very interesting flavours that go well together. The venue is lovely and bright, lots of spaces so you don't need to stress about seating. The last time I was there it was quite loud, sounded like a vacuum, and beans being grounded the whole time. Didn't seem to notice noise like that the first time, so I would still recommend it for good coffee and food! Wish they stayed open a bit longer too.
Breakfast @IndustryBeans which is such a bright airy inviting open space, I love it. Blazed in white with light wood coloured tables and benches across a few levels, one can't help feel relaxed and awake with the natural sunlight filtering in. I ordered the Sweetcorn Fritters: Paprika charred corn & black garlic fritters, green pea dusted poached egg, coffee-spiced chickpeas, pea shoot, watercress & micro-green salad, romesco sauce and toasted hazelnuts What a delicious dish! I love the creativity turning something simple into something fantastic. The crunch from the sweetcorn fritters which aren't rich nor sweet from the corn is complimented in texture by the crunchy chickpeas, a slight bitterness from the coffee hangs in the background but is very subtle. He poached egg is perfectly cooked with a slight ooze of runny yolk. There's a lovely freshness from the romesco sauce and a touch of acidity to balance any richness. For the coffee aficionados there's quite a range of coffee but not being a coffee drinker, I enjoyed a matcha latte. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, ambience and service. #breakfast #cafe #sweetcornfritters #romescosauce #poachedegg #matchalatte #Foodie #BrisbaneFood #FortitudeValley
