We booked a one night stay and left a small note in our booking that we were celebrating something, and to say the team at The Inchcolm went above and beyond would be an understatement. We were upgraded to the most remarkable room, and even greeted with a surprise waiting for us. The room was incredible, clean, gorgeous views, the comfiest bed and the amenities were fantastic. The team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and they were accommodating at every turn. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more.
We just spent 3 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival we asked for an upgrade and got it. Its located in a heritage builfing close to central station and city hall. The rooms are big with high ceilings with a nice bar area and big bathroom. Everything you need is there from bath robes to milk frother. There is a bar / restaurant on the ground floor if you want to dine in or have room service. Free fruit, coffee and pastries for hotel guests in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay. Conclusion: A no nonsense hotel with old charm and modern, big rooms.
The Inchcolm was nothing short of extraordinary for my daughter’s wedding. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The staff went above and beyond—professional, attentive, and genuinely warm—making everyone feel completely taken care of. Our daughter selected the five-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for the wedding dinner, and it was, without a doubt, the best decision they could have made. Every dish was a masterpiece—beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. A heartfelt thank you to Matt, whose culinary expertise truly made the evening unforgettable. His food wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience—elevating the celebration and adding something truly special to an already magical day. Exceptional venue, outstanding service, and world-class cuisine—The Inchcolm delivered perfection in every way.
We were lucky enough to stay at the charming Incholm and were very impressed. It felt like stepping back in time for a weekend (in the best way possible!) The Gatsby High Tea was great, made better by the three martinis included. Great ambience and attentive staff. Our city view loft room was spacious and clean. Easy 10min walk to Eagle St restaurants too. The Inchcolm is a Brisbane gem. Thanks for hosting us!
We stayed at The Inchcolm a few months ago. Preferring to give our business to smaller, boutique establishments over the anodyne sameness of the big hotel chains we occasionally need to deal with minor inconveniences. Unfortunately, the inconveniences here were many. The wardrobe in the room exuded an overpowering stench of mould rendering it unusable on the first night. To their credit they remedied the situation the next day by bombarding it with some form of chemical treatment. The wardrobe also housed the safe which couldn’t be accessed because the right hand wardrobe door was obstructed by the bed leaving a gap of only a few inches. The bathroom was a triumph of style over function. The tap above the basin was positioned so high that even a slow stream of water was splashed all over the user and all around the room. The accessories shelf which also was home to a box of tissues was flooded every time the shower was turned on. This made things difficult given there was no other shelving. All of this was a great shame as the place itself is full of charm and the staff were genuinely helpful.
