The Inchcolm was nothing short of extraordinary for my daughter’s wedding. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The staff went above and beyond—professional, attentive, and genuinely warm—making everyone feel completely taken care of. Our daughter selected the five-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for the wedding dinner, and it was, without a doubt, the best decision they could have made. Every dish was a masterpiece—beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. A heartfelt thank you to Matt, whose culinary expertise truly made the evening unforgettable. His food wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience—elevating the celebration and adding something truly special to an already magical day. Exceptional venue, outstanding service, and world-class cuisine—The Inchcolm delivered perfection in every way.

We booked a one night stay and left a small note in our booking that we were celebrating something, and to say the team at The Inchcolm went above and beyond would be an understatement. We were upgraded to the most remarkable room, and even greeted with a surprise waiting for us. The room was incredible, clean, gorgeous views, the comfiest bed and the amenities were fantastic. The team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and they were accommodating at every turn. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

I used to love this hotel but over the last year the service and the rooms have deteriorated. There is hardly ever a concierge at the front counter and I had to wander around knocking on doors to check in. The staff are lovely but poorly trained so they were unable to answer questions about the neighbourhood, where I could get street parking, or about the hotel. We wanted to watch Netflix, the hotel advertises they have it but couldn’t get it to work. The manager on at the time couldn’t get it work either, and told us they had been having trouble with it. (If you are having trouble just get it fixed) The hotel is dirty , particularly the public areas, carpets need cleaning, the lights are covered in dust. The room was a bit dirty too, surfaces dusty, mirrors a bit smeared. No breakfast any more in the dining room. A bucket of cleaning products and dirty cloth shoved in the corner of the bar. This is more like a three star hotel. This will be my last stay here

We just spent 3 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival we asked for an upgrade and got it. Its located in a heritage builfing close to central station and city hall. The rooms are big with high ceilings with a nice bar area and big bathroom. Everything you need is there from bath robes to milk frother. There is a bar / restaurant on the ground floor if you want to dine in or have room service. Free fruit, coffee and pastries for hotel guests in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay. Conclusion: A no nonsense hotel with old charm and modern, big rooms.
