•For over 145 years Brisbane has met, mingled and created memories beyond the iron-laced verandahs of the iconic Regatta Hotel. First established as a modest, single-story affair in 1874, the Regatta Hotel has witnessed some of Australia’s most memorable moments in time. Home to legendary sporting achievements and one of the first feminist insurgencies, our Grand Lady of the Brisbane River has withstood flood, fire and more than a century of change. Despite her evolution over the years, some things remained the same: her love for a cold beer, a great steak and the people who shared in her history. Her contemporary spaces have been thoughtfully designed to blend modern comforts with the charm of her storied past. It's the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and revel in the rich history that surrounds you.

We sometimes go to this iconic pub hotel to enjoy a meal and a drink or two. We’ve tried the chicken parmy, rump steak and the pizzas and we loved them all. We were there a couple months ago and ordered a bottle of sparkling white but to our disappointment one of the glasses that was brought to us had lipstick on it. We asked for another and that one also had lipstick on it! We were lucky the third time tho! We were there yesterday and this time we ordered two glasses only but to our surprise the drinks were brought in two different glasses and the amount does not look equal either. The table was very sticky too. We may still go back for the food but management if you’re reading this and looking for things to improve, there you have it!
We very much enjoy our time at the Regetta. The food is very tasty and the drinks are good, the only down fall is that the service is a little slow (probably because they are so busy) and sometimes it’s hard to find a seat. But we do like it here and good vibes. Also, hard to get parking if coming at peak times.
I was with old schoolmates. We have a get-together every year at Christmas time. We are all BBC old boys, many of us rowed and have known the Regatta since the sixties. My grandfather opened the BBC rowing shed in 1934, so I naturally have a fond connection. He was the Alderman for Toowng and then became the member for Toowong.
Had not been to the Regatta in yonks. Stopped for lunch on a Saturday, place was busy, but not crazy busy, could still snag a carpark out back. QR table ordering, food sizes were good. Indoor or outdoor on the footpath dining. All good.
Family favourite spot for a great meal. Friendly staff, great food and right on the riverwith the bonus of using The Pass app
