•For over 145 years Brisbane has met, mingled and created memories beyond the iron-laced verandahs of the iconic Regatta Hotel. First established as a modest, single-story affair in 1874, the Regatta Hotel has witnessed some of Australia’s most memorable moments in time. Home to legendary sporting achievements and one of the first feminist insurgencies, our Grand Lady of the Brisbane River has withstood flood, fire and more than a century of change. Despite her evolution over the years, some things remained the same: her love for a cold beer, a great steak and the people who shared in her history. Her contemporary spaces have been thoughtfully designed to blend modern comforts with the charm of her storied past. It's the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and revel in the rich history that surrounds you.

Great chips, steak okay, pork knuckles fatty but oh so good. Service better at the tables than the bar. Watch delivery of drinks matches size ordered and level.
Stopped by Regatta Hotel for a few evening drinks and absolutely loved it! The vibe is so relaxed and welcoming, and the variety of drinks on offer is impressive. Didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, but it looked tempting, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Brisbane. Perfect spot for a chill evening out!
This is an iconic pub in Brisbane. Service was great and food came out fast. The parmi was a bit dry but the meat lovers pizza was great. It’s up there in price but we both took home half our plates for lunch the next day so it’s worth it
We recently hosted our wedding celebration at The Henley Room at The Regatta Hotel, and it was truly amazing from start to finish. Leah took such great care of us — her communication throughout the planning process was excellent, and her helpful suggestions made everything run smoothly. We requested a 3-course vegan menu, and The Regatta absolutely delivered. The food was incredible — hands down the best vegan meal we’ve ever had — and the service was exceptional all evening. To top it all off, we cut our wedding cake downstairs in The Walrus Club, which was such a unique and memorable way to end the night. The Henley Room is a fantastic venue for small and intimate occasions, and we would recommend it to anyone. We’re also excited to hopefully see some of the incredible vegan dishes make it onto the day-to-day menu at The Regatta!
I hosted a lunch for some clients on Thursday the 11th of December. The service was fantastic and the food was great and everybody enjoyed themselves. I then hosted a dinner on Friday, 12 December. I had a 515 booking at the boat shed. When I arrive to the restaurant at 5:10, I was told to come back at 5:15, Which was odd. Regardless, our server was fantastic. The same young lady that served us for lunch on Thursday was also in the restaurant as a section supervisor And again she was fantastic. The food was good everyone enjoyed themselves. As is customary for this time of the year we wanted to go to the smoking section and smoke a few cigars. Another one of the section supervisors a young man who was also fantastic and had served us both days in a row suggested we go upstairs to the balcony and that was a good spot. This is where we ran into trouble as my party of seven headed upstairs we were met by another staff member. She quite rudely told us there was a private function in that area and that we couldn’t use the balcony. Which is normally fine, just a little bit of miscommunication not a big deal. But having spent nearly $2000 over the last two days at this establishment I would’ve preferred a little bit more of an Informative assisted Type of delivery. Instead of the repeated stern telling off that we got. Especially since much of my party had not been drinking heavily at all and there was no reason to think that we were going to be any sort of trouble. Last time I checked the regatta hotel and the boat shed was not an penitentiary of any sort. So maybe a bit of an emphasis on service and information rather than punishment for poor behaviour would be a better approach. Regrettably a lot of people in the service industry think it’s their responsibility to enforce rules. Rather than help inform and support their valuable customers. Additionally, the establishment is wasting at least $300 a week paying staff to work out the combination bins on the Glass recycling in the alleyway. Which is one of the most stupid things I’ve seen. Probably come up with something better there. Merry Xmas
