Just had the best experience here thanks to JED! Impeccable service and I really appreciated the excellent sparkling recommendation - a great drop if you love Brut Cuvée! The ambiance is perfect—whether you’re looking for a lively night out or a cozy spot to unwind. Amazing atmosphere, fantastic drinks, and top-notch service. Definitely coming back again soon. Highly recommend!
Wow, waited 1 hour for a normal nothing special pizza. The pizza tasted good but we had not planned to use this much time on dinner. A sad experience🥲
We came on a Saturday for lunch and originally sat out the front where we had some food and drinks. The menu looks interesting but when the food came out the tastes are just all wrong and quite small in size. We tried the chicken and Brie croquettes, which just tasted odd, fried baby squid, pork belly twisties which were okay, but strange flavours again, even the chips were average. We then went upstairs for drinks and it had a great vibe so stayed for a little longer. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have a bad time, it was the food that was the let down, sometimes keeping it simple is better. There was also a number of beggars asking for money when we sat out the front which is probably a sign of the area so to avoid I would sit inside or on the roof top.
We enjoyed our meal here. The barramundi was very tasty, and the pizza was great. Only complaint was the portion size for one of the barramundi meals was very small- more like potatoes with a side of fish than the reverse.
The venue itself is quite nice, but I found the menu to be pretty limited. For example, I paid $29 for a pizza that had barely any toppings — it felt like I was just eating crust and cheese. And there was only one pasta dish on the entire menu, which seems odd for a pub. I’d consider going back, but I think they really need to revisit their menu options.
