I recently had the pleasure of staying at the InterContinental Adelaide, overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel boasts a convenient location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area & a good locaiotin for my business activities. While the hotel does show signs of age and could benefit from some modern updates, it is exceptionally clean, and all services are functioning perfectly. This attention to cleanliness is commendable and contributes significantly to the comfort of guests. The gym particulary has good facilties and is in good order. The hotel bar is a highlight, offering a nice atmosphere for relaxation and socializing, though it is on the pricier side. It’s an ideal spot for enjoying a drink at the end of the day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although they echo the hotel's dated aesthetic. Personally, I found the bed to be a bit too hard for my liking, but I understand that comfort preferences vary. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the attentive service throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met during my visit, in particular the breakfast service and offerings. Overall, considering the price, cleanliness, comfortable & environment, I would not hesitate to stay at the InterContinental Adelaide again. It's a solid choice for anyone.

Loved it, my family and I always have a fantastic time here. Clean cosy and fantastic spot. The service is spot on 👌. It has large rooms and very comfortable, the most minuscule negative for me personally was the colour scheme and the marbling especially just feels not very modern and slightly dark. Service fantastic 👏 Had tea and breakfast in their restaurant at foyer level and it was just awesome and also the bar there 👌

Great hotel. Club lounge has moved again but to a lighter airy space. One of the best club lounges in Australia. Really excellent service and food. Wish all Club lounges were like this one. Great stay.

Staying at the hotel right now, May 12th 2025. I’ve never stayed in a dirtier hotel. There were stains all over the carpet and side tables, the toilet was filthy, the fridge hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long, and the vanity sink was grimy. It was clear that no effort had been made to maintain even basic hygiene. I would give this place zero for cleanliness if I could. Avoid at all costs.

Our second time here and WOW. We love this place. Level 24 overlooking the river was absolutely stunning. Was a great surprise to get that awesome room. Everything about this complex is out of this world. Best buffet breakfast. We can't wait for our next getaway 💖
