What a fabulous stay we had!! 3 nights of a relaxing stay in a king spa room with lovely views. What stood out was the friendliness and efficiency of staff, great food & cleanliness overall. We met one of the chefs who was very nice and a wonderful cook. Parking was also reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
I recently spent three nights at this hotel, and I have to say, it was pretty underwhelming. First off, the room I stayed in was one of their older lower-level rooms, and it showed. The bedsheets had small stains that looked like they’d been there for a while, which was a bit off-putting. The door was broken, and the bathroom vents were open, which didn't help with privacy. Compared to the Sydney Rydges, this place doesn't even come close. The rooms there are so much nicer and better maintained. The buffet breakfast was another letdown. While the quality was fine, the variety was very limited and definitely not worth the money. As a vegetarian, I asked for avocado, but after waiting a few minutes, the lady at the restaurant told me they had run out. This was hard to believe since they clearly had avocados available on their a la carte menu – it felt like they just didn’t want to serve it without charging extra. It was frustrating and felt dishonest. I could have taken some pictures to show these issues, but I chose not to because it could damage the hotel's reputation. As a loyal member, I’m hoping they will address and fix these problems. Overall, I’d say this hotel is very average. There are definitely better options around, and I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay.
From the moment we stepped into the elegant Skyline restaurant Rydges Adelaide, we knew our anniversary celebration was in good hands. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, from the beautifully decorated venue to the impeccable service throughout the evening. The food was simply divine; each dish was expertly prepared and presented with flair, leaving our guests raving about the culinary experience. The management team was incredibly accommodating, making sure our every request was met with a smile and professionalism. Our anniversary celebration exceeded all expectations, thanks to the exceptional team at Rydges Adelaide. We can't wait to return for future celebrations!
Booked for Gather Round, 4 nights. On arrival, front desk asked if I was here for the footy, yes and gave me complimentary gift bag of mug, public transport information for the games, cookie and feckless. Also gave me complimentary breakfast each day. Room was great with a great view, restaurant was great. Staff was always ready to help with anything. Buffet breakfast was amazing, was topped up with fresh ingredients. This was out 3rd Rydges hotel stay. Each hotel was great.
My wife and I recently had our wedding at the Rydges Adelaide, both ceremony and reception plus a refreshment hour in between. Throughout the whole 1+ year process, the staff were incredible in their understanding, flexibility, and execution of their services for us. Everyone ran smoothly, and we can only describe our wedding as truly the perfect day. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we left with big smiles on our faces.
