Built in 1852 and situated on five acres overlooking Lake Carew Reynell, St Francis Winery Resort features a number of spacious function venues – all as elegant and versatile as the next. Frequently the host of weddings and conferences, the spaces available easily transform depending on the needs of the event. With countless photo opportunities outside and plenty of scope for lavish dinners or cocktail parties inside, St Francis Winery Resort has hosted golden wedding anniversaries, meetings, as well as birthdays.

Cellar Door
This space connects with the Main vines function room, it is usually the dance floor area but can be hired as a space of its own for any small event or meeting area. This space can hold 34 people seated.
Main Vines Function Room
The Main vines function room is our most desired event space which usually has a capacity of up to 100 guests. It has its own outside pergola area attached which can allow for a lot more guests in our warmer months.
Governor Phillip

Bed was comfortable and service to the room was perfect, maybe a little too early to redo the rooms as I had only just got up to get ready around 9am but gave me an incentive to hurry up and go. The cupboard and coffee table needs some updating but does its job. I only ate at the restaurant once and it was really tasty, I had the roast of the day but the gravy was a little heavy handed. Not too bad but the presentation was off. Would be best to have gravy in a little pot separate. But all in all I had a great stay.

Unfortunately for me, I had a non renovated room. It was average at best. ( I saw a renovated room during cleaning & noted the huge contrast). Unable to watch TV from the bed, and with a strong musty smell & inability to open the window, I propped the door open when in the room except at night. The grounds, restaurant, bar & gaming venue were all good. Also looks like a lovely wedding venue in old winery building. Staff were all excellent & willing to go the extra mile. KD was particularly great, but really all were including housekeeping. Food very good. Indoor pool was a bonus.

To the manager always stay here, this time we where absolutely discussed how we got treated... We made our booking 2 mths ago. Requested a family room like usual 2 adults 1 child .. When we arrived friday 16th may 2025 to spend 2night here at 4pm..we booked in .. opened our room door and found a queen bed only No single,so i went back to the Asian lady that served me and told her there was a mistake with the room, "she said we up graded you" .. I told her there is 3 of us we booked a family room.. she said sorry we have no more family rooms ( we book 2 mths ago?) She said againbwe dont have any family rooms left, We wanted to know what the hells going on ? Must have been a computer glitch (CRAP) there was a large group booked in and they gave our booked room to these guys to cover there booked accommodation.. She offered us 2 separate room's , I told her No way are we going in 2 separate room ( one of us have a medical condition that requires full time care) i did tell her this ...if we could have gotten accommodation else where we would have left, but there was nothing available else where .. so we had to sharing a room the 3 of us for 2 night stay in one bed .a very resless 9 1/2 yrs old we had no sleep and sore back due to sharing ..yes we did get our money back .. But this is bullshit we booked 2mths ago and had the worse say ever ..we are regularly guest ... I would like feed back regarding our horrible break for 2 nights

We had a lovely 60th birthday lunch there. It was busy as Seniors Day so waited a bit for food, but we were told that. Good food, lovely white sparkling..Lois Lane.. staff were lovely.

My Daughter Michelle and myself went to this lovely restaurant and had dinner, we had grilled Flathead with Salt ‘n’ Pepper Squid, Chips and Salad. It was by far the best Pub Meal that we’ve had for a longtime. We had a Beautiful Waitress by the name of KD (Karmel)
