Extremely lousy on the food they served for vegetarians.They charged more than $200 per head. Vegetarian entrees were three very thin slices of green tomato topped with 4 thin slices of cucumber and 3 small sundried tomatoes. Mains were 3 discs of sweet potato on some sauce. Really poor hospitality. If you have vegetarians in the wedding party please do not book here.

They did a fabulous job for an event I attended. They were so attentive with food and beverages. The staff really did a fabulous job. I understand the food is down to the event organiser, so I will not comment on the food, but the staff made sure we had plenty, and they were consistently filling up our glass. Showtime events did a wonderful job overall, well done!

My husband and I had our wedding here a year ago, the night was magical with a few minor hiccups - coffee and tea weren't served, and some guests found that their meals weren't right but all in all everyone had a great time. The organisation of the team was wonderful, we had the luxury of dealing with Rachel and then moving onto Claire, when she moved on, and there was not much we had to worry about. The venue was amazing and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful day. Thanks team SEG, you guys were a breeze to deal with and thank you for the amazing venue.

Showtime events was my host to enjoy a private dining experience at Melbourne aquarium. I was greeted at the front door with a friendly warm welcome. The experience was absolutely amazing! The set-up, food, service, and drinks were all impeccable! I could not be happier with how organised and perfect my evening was with my now fiance. We recently hosted our wedding at State Library Victoria, produced by Showtime, and were initially impressed by the venue and Yas' attentive service. However, several significant issues arose that marred our guests' experience. One of the most disappointing aspects was the unexpected substitution of eggplant for lobster in the 8-course banquet served to our pregnant guests. Despite paying the full price, we believe this was unfair and a significant disappointment. Following up after the wedding, we were informed that the substitution was due to dietary concerns and that the option of lobster would have been provided if requested. While we understand the need for dietary accommodations, the lack of clear communication and proactive measures to ensure guest satisfaction were disappointing. Additionally, there were communication lapses regarding late-arriving guests and the wishing well setup. Some guests were not served due to an unfamiliar crossed-cutlery policy, and the wishing well table and decorations were not ready until just before guests arrived, despite being discussed weeks in advance. Furthermore, some of our guests reported that certain waiters and waitresses seemed undertrained. For example, they were asked to pay for alcoholic beverages, even though we had pre-paid for all drinks. This created unnecessary confusion and embarrassment. While the venue and Yas' service were commendable, the communication issues and service shortcomings significantly impacted our wedding day. We would recommend Showtime with reservations, especially considering the premium price point. Future couples should conduct thorough research and due diligence before booking with Showtime.
