Awesome place to stay and eat. The bed was super comfy, shower was hot and strong, and the room was very clean. Dinner was delicious. However, the oysters were still partly frozen. A little slow between entrees and main, but my scallop curry was exquisite. Delicious, fresh breakfast! Check-in, reception was pleasant and very helpful, even when I had to run back and get my pillow that I nearly forgot. Thankyou, highly recommended!
Beware if you are a mobility or wheelchair user, I could pay to eat and drink at this facility, googled the website which states accessible, yet when asked where the bathroom was was told I could not use it this particular night as it was taken by accomodation? I did receive a response from Katherine explaining it was an old building and this would be frustrating. More work needs to be done here for inclusivity, and clearer instruction on website, as while travelling TAS this was the only one place that didn’t provide a bathroom, Of our table of four 3 could use the bathroom and I could to with the door open as my wheelchair could not fit in and close the door!!
Just had dinner here and it was AMAZING! Meals where huge and absolutely delicious. The ladies who where working tonight where also outstanding, they where so good with my kids and just so so lovely, warm and inviting. Their customer service was on point! When we come back to TAS again we will 100% be coming back here :)
Overnight stay at Devonport before heading to Frecinet National Park. It's clean and just okay with all the basic necessities.its not a luxury place but the food is absolutely delicious. We had dinner at this place and I hadn't this yummy salmon since ages.
Food and stay has been wonderful. Staff have been polite and accommodating. Special mention to Naomi in the bistro for accomodating me with needing a smaller meal due to medical reasons. Would stay again
