Great central city located hotel. Rooms are Beautifully appointed & stunning bathrooms. Great views from of either Mount Wellington or the water. Food & service in the restaurant has been brilliant, friendly & welcoming staff. View from my room of Mount Wellington & look at the fancy bathrooms at the Crowne Plaza Club lounge, best views in the hotel!! 🙌😍😃

A Fantastic Stay at Crowne Plaza Hobart—Highly Recommended! During my stay at the Crowne Plaza Hobart, I was so glad I chose one of the best hotels in the city. The rooms were incredibly spacious, and even the bathrooms were impressively large! 😅 But beyond the comfort of the rooms, the food really stood out. I tried their fish and chips, which were absolutely delicious, and their breakfast buffet is hands down one of the best spreads I’ve experienced in Australia. Compared to the Crowne Plaza in Melbourne, the pastries here—croissants, donuts, and more—are much softer and fresher, which was a pleasant surprise! The hotel also offers valet service, adding to the overall convenience of the stay. A special thank you to Mr. Allen, whose assistance was invaluable. Without his help, I wouldn’t have been able to access my room. His kindness made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you so much! ☺️

I’ve never felt so welcomed and respected by a wonderful group of people before. This has to be one of the best hotels I’ve been to that has showed such dedication and commitment to their service. We are from Adelaide and here for a birthday getaway, and the staff did everything possible to make our stay great. Everyone from the chefs to the restaurant staff to the concierge staff all met our expectations and went above and beyond. Unfortunately we weren’t that impressed with the service during the late afternoons, the bar staff were not welcoming and really did not seem like they wanted to be there. Although, a special shoutout to Grace from Reception for going out of her own way to make things better for us. We had a problem with our room and she moved us to a nice room and allowed us to have a late checkout with no hassle at all! Without her service, we definitely would have left unsatisfied, but her service made us feel welcomed, acknowledged and respected. Grace definitely deserves recognition for being one of the best customer service people I’ve ever encountered with. Good job Grace! We will definitely be back when we visit Hobart next! 😄

Club Lounge access room is a must! Worth for what you pay. Got the room at level 11 and we enjoyed our stay. The staff at lounge room was amazing and welcoming. It’s kid friendly. If I visit Hobart next time, I will stay at here again! Value for money! Only the problem is there is no on-site parking, valet parking will cost $35 per night off-site parking.

We had a very pleasant stay here last week, and recommend the Crowne for amazing service and location. All the staff were wonderful but a few really stood out for a special mention - Allen greeted us on check in and upsold us to join the Club Lounge which was incredible! Evan and Ian looked after us beyond expectations in the Lounge, and are a credit to the organisation, they were friendly but not intrusive, so professional and really stood out as offering superior service. The hotel is in a great location with many cafe snd restaurant options close by, and the wharf, Salamanca and museums all within easy walking distance.
