I didn’t take many photos during my visit here, but it was a memorable experience. It was my first time, and I was invited by my son. Arriving at 12 PM, I was surprised by how busy the venue was—it’s clearly a popular spot! The layout is unique, with a lively front bar where people gather for drinks, leading to the seating area out back. Sitting by the canal was such a pleasant surprise; it’s an unexpected yet lovely setting that adds to the venue’s charm. The food was fantastic, the service was efficient, and everything moved smoothly despite the crowd. The atmosphere was lively, with happy patrons all around, which added to the experience. We enjoyed alcoholic ginger beers as our drink of choice, and they were refreshing and delicious. I’m grateful to have been invited because it’s not somewhere I might have gone on my own, but I can see why it’s so popular—I’ve even seen it shared frequently on social media. I’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to experiencing it again!
We visited the restaurant after our walk in Frankston looking at the wall art (amazing). No expectations but this place has a great view of the beach and the river. It wasn't busy during our visit and managed to get a table easily. Ordered our food via the QR code on the table, and food was served promptly. I had the best barramundi dish ($44) that was served with coconut flavoured rice and salad. The fish was fried to perfection and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes fried fish with Thai flavours. The seafood linguine was very generous with plenty of fresh seafood. The burger was served with a generous portion of chips. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Drinks were good, once we finally got them. Meals were ordered at the same time and of the 6, 2 came out in 20 mins, 2 in 35 mins and the last 2 in 45mins. The pizzas tasted like frozen servo pizzas
Waiting 42 mins on a Wednesday lunch time for an almost $50 Porterhouse steak ordered medium rare, I expected better than this which is obviously well done without a single hint of pink throughout the entire cut. Fortunately the quality of the beef was quite high which resulted in it being quite juicy and forgiving, otherwise I would have sent it back in a heartbeat. The accompany juis was also well flavoured and quite tasty. Bit of a ‘meh’ at this price point but good friendly service so otherwise a lunch not spoilt so would give this place another go, albeit perhaps trying some other dishes.
Went here for an early lunch on Sunday It was quiet at the time. Food was generally good, pizza came out barely warm towards the middle. Pizza better when put through the oven again. Schnitzel was good, fried chicken burger was good. Scan at table to order meals arrived quick. Orders placed at bar before the others were forgotten and required someone to give them a shake up after other meals had arrived.
