Food was delicious. Barramundi was the best meal I’ve had in ages, flavours were unique and on point. Service was nice enough but we got told to order through the QR code which disappointingly lost any personal touch. The James Squire ginger beer is really nice

I didn’t take many photos during my visit here, but it was a memorable experience. It was my first time, and I was invited by my son. Arriving at 12 PM, I was surprised by how busy the venue was—it’s clearly a popular spot! The layout is unique, with a lively front bar where people gather for drinks, leading to the seating area out back. Sitting by the canal was such a pleasant surprise; it’s an unexpected yet lovely setting that adds to the venue’s charm. The food was fantastic, the service was efficient, and everything moved smoothly despite the crowd. The atmosphere was lively, with happy patrons all around, which added to the experience. We enjoyed alcoholic ginger beers as our drink of choice, and they were refreshing and delicious. I’m grateful to have been invited because it’s not somewhere I might have gone on my own, but I can see why it’s so popular—I’ve even seen it shared frequently on social media. I’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to experiencing it again!

This was my third visit, and as always, the staff were friendly. The steak was okay, and the food was served quickly—I didn’t have to wait long. It’s also kid-friendly, which is a big plus. The location is great, being close to Frankston Beach and the waterfront. Overall, it has a great atmosphere!

Love sitting out on the back deck on a sunny, warm day, overlooking the creek and beach in the background. Absolutely love the mussel pot 🤩 The steak and Parma have also been really good😊

On Tuesday I visited for lunch. After discussing vegetarian options with wait staff, they suggested a vegan burger, I said I didn't usually order those as they usually taste like meat. I was reassured multiple times that their burger did not. Taking their word I ordered the burger. When it arrived it tasted like meat. I made a complaint to the same waitress, she then said no I'm sure it doesn't taste like meat, asked anther waitress, a vegan who agreed that it didn't taste like meat. She told me they were V2 burgers. According to the website V2 burgers are specifically made to taste like meat. She asked if I would like a refund or replacement. I requested a replacement. Went back to my table and ate my chips while waiting. The manager came out in a mood instantly asking what the problem was. I said once again it tasted like meat. She then claimed multiple vegans eat it. Not sure how that makes a difference. She commented on how I had eaten my chips and the ⅓ burger (which my partner had tasted to after complaint to tell me I'm not crazy) then very reluctantly agreed to replace my meal. When the manager served my meal down with attitude, I mentioned what I read about V2 and the future if someone asked... before rudely being cut off and told they never get complaints. Food has been great every other time but I didn't need 3 people arguing and gaslighting me while dining with my young children. Utterly disgusted with the behaviour of the staff
