I did not dine in, nor did I hire the boat since it seemed expensive. However, I really liked the picnic areas and the trails nearby. It wasn't that far from the city so we took a bus. It's a good place to jog, cycle or just have a small picnic with friends and family. I went around the entire circuit around the Falls.
This is one of my favorite places in Melbourne. It is my first visit and the view is breathtaking, the atmosphere is just wow. The food is great and the place is dog friendly(a lot of cute dogs) and you can hire a boat as well if you would like to. Definitely would be back again :) try the pumpkin pizza it’s delicious
I Adore this place, it will always have a place in my heart. The dining experience is calm, with staff making it an incredibly easy process. The scones are some of the best I have had in my life so far, fluffy, sweet but not overly; a perfect little snack with a coffee if you are not looking for anything big; even perfect for sharing. Its always fun watch the ducks and geese waddle around the tables, staff gently trying to shoo them away from people eating. Its a beautiful sight to also see families and couples jump on the boats to have some bonding time out in the sun along the yarra. Only bad thing about this place is the parking is a bit rough on busy days (or in most cases sunny days, as most people want to enjoy the atmosphere.) Would come again!
Like all boathouses, this one was also lovely. We arrived around noon, and the restaurant was quite busy, with a 15- to 20-minute wait for a table. The food was excellent, but I would have appreciated some pasta or other brunch options. Overall, it was a great place to spend the day.
Food is yummy! Kinda pricey probably coz of the location. It’s a really nice spot with various options for seating Indoors/outdoors. Such a good place for a date or family brunch. Everything was good 🎉 The steak was 🤌🏽 and that chocolate cake is just amazing!
