I attended an exciting match cats v Gold Coast on Friday 12/6/26 and got seats high up on the Selwood stand section C39 row X seat 4 and it was a superb view from up here.

We make an annual trip down here to watch the football and it is always the highlight of the season. Every time you step through the gates, you can feel the excitement in the atmosphere. An additional bonus is all the years we’ve come down here, the cats have won!

Hate it. We sat in the family area with kids who were all up too late. That’s the $30 tickets in front of scoreboard. The alternative was seating at $90 per seat. Way too expensive! Parochial Cats crowd influences the umpiring against visiting team every year I attend. Then my team is getting thrashed by Geelong - again. And the cats supporters are awful. Not welcoming to other teams’ supporters. It’s an awful place. The playing surface is slippery. We never get to play the Cats at Marvel - why??!

Driven down from Melbourne for years to watch the Cats at GMHBA Stadium, and it’s still one of the best game-day experiences going. The facilities are excellent, seats are comfortable, and the views from the Members Reserve on the wing are top-tier. But the food situation is a recurring letdown. Long queues are the norm, and they’re often sold out of basics like hot dogs before the game and jam donuts by half-time. Hard to understand how demand isn’t better anticipated—start cooking earlier. Drinks don’t help either. $18 for a single standard drink (passionfruit vodka can) is steep, even by stadium standards.

Decent sized stadium that feels modern and has great food options and great lighting for night games. Have been a few times and when entering and leaving haven’t had no issues as there are plenty of exits from any area seating. Would be great if they had MORE parking available. Great place to see a home game for Geelong Cats 🐱🤍💙
