•Nestling in the tranquil surrounds of the picturesque Macedon Ranges, you will find Macedon Ranges Hotel and Spa an easy one hour drive from Melbourne and half an hour from Tullamarine Airport. Positioned just off the freeway within acres of natural bushland, the distractions are minimal allowing your delegates the time and space to focus and engage. The Macedon Valley Room is a generous and versatile space with impressive cathedral ceilings. The space makes the most of the mountain views and is flooded with natural light. Its substantial private terrace is an ideal place for break out groups, pre-function drinks or lunch breaks with a difference. The room will comfortably seat up to 200 delegates (with ample car parking on site available at no cost to your delegates). With the room dividers in place, it is also a really great space for smaller conferences of between 20 and 60 delegates. Finally, the rustic Farmhouse Cottage offers more intimate meeting space for even smaller groups. Each of the 36 comfortable and spacious guest rooms can be configured as King or Twin rooms. Delegates can unwind at the end of their conference day with a long soak in the luxurious spa bath (there is a spa bath in every guest room!!), or with a treatment in the Day Spa. Alternatively, you might consider a team building program that can be run on-site or at locations nearby. Come and see for yourself why Macedon Ranges Hotel & Spa is the perfect choice for your next function, conference or product launch.

I never write reviews but in this instance I feel it is the right thing to do. We ran a conference at the Macedon Ranges Hotel and Spa last November. We have just closed off on the bill after endless incorrect invoices being sent through, clear feedback from us about what wasn't right and strong resistance from the venue to take responsibility. In term of our experience of the place, the rooms were tired and dated, furniture old and faded and in some cases rooms were unclean or problematic re showers flooding into the bedroom. There was no room service so even through we paid over $200 per room, the rooms were not made up. The skeleton staff that were there did their best, but they obviously had limited budget so the conference food was actually awful. The room we ran our conference in was fine, with a lovely outlook but the furniture on the deck was sparse and dilapidated. If you want to take a client group to this venue do a site visit. If we had done this, we never would have gone there. The impact on our business has been significant and negative.
Stunning location with stunning views and the spa was absolutely magnificent! The only downside is that our room had a couple of cobwebs accompanied by small spiders as well as a half empty coffee cup on the table. I certainly did appreciate the contact-free check in as it made my journey from Canberra much less stressful. Would certainly recommend a stay here!
Had a lovely stay at the Hotel. The room presentation was lovely, the spa views were FANTASTIC, and we had everything we needed - including some birthday chocolates for my partner. Loved the little touch :) Definitely will recommend and return.
Our daughter and son-in-law bought us a night at Macedon Hotel and spa through Red Balloon. I read a lot of reviews which were very mixed. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the goodies left for us and late check out. The hotel has some age and the room is certainly dated however it doesn’t take anything away from your stay. We read a review saying the traffic at night is very noisy, we didn’t find that at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.
3 night stay, second level spa room with treetop sky views. Clean rooms, large firm bed, separate bathroom with a spacious shower, gas fireplace, air-conditioning, quiet location. Seating area could be better, "please make up my room" ..... This needs attention, removed all the towels, left 2, no hand towels ect, no refill of condiments or even water. Staff only on site 9-5, the restaurant has been closed the last 4 times we have stayed but the day spa is open. In room Spa run times are a little tough, 9am till 10pm, big tub, beautiful rain water. My husband and i love this place and will continue to stay in the future.
