•I was invited to try this German restaurant recently. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. The food was fine — the sausages and sides were traditional and the portions were generous. Overall though, it just didn’t quite meet my personal standard. Everything felt a bit too normal and nothing really stood out to me. It’s a decent spot if you’re after classic German comfort food, but probably not somewhere I’d go out of my way for. Nice to have tried it, but not quite for me.
Very happy experience in this German restaurant The servant is very nice and take us to the bar area so we can enjoy the performance. Germany Pork knuckle is a large one and delicious. German Dark Large is the best. The stage performance made the atmosphere great - happy and delighted. Recommended if you don’t mind the noise
Stopped in for a quick bit, it was really quiet but they still had the band playing g and some light entertainment. Their pretzels 🥨 are amazing and we just had a small share platter which was all really nice. Always worth a visit if you’re in the area. And want some good German food.
A Bavarian blast in the heart of Melbourne! 🇩🇪🍺 If you’re after a place that feels like Oktoberfest all year round, Munich Brauhaus is the spot. The atmosphere is lively and festive, with traditional outfits, music, and an overall good-time vibe that’s hard to beat. The food is classic German comfort food. Hearty, tasty, and authentic. From crispy schnitzels to juicy sausages and melt-in-your-mouth pork knuckle, everything hits the spot. Don’t skip the pretzels either. They’re perfect to pair with a cold one. Speaking of beer… wow. Served in 1L steins or even 2L monsters if you’re feeling bold. Pure joy in a glass. You leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
A mixed experience at this Munich-inspired brewery. The ambience here is fantastic — warm, lively, and authentic with a definite nod to Bavarian beer halls. The décor and overall atmosphere really set the tone for a great night out, and the beer selection was impressive, with some solid German-style brews on tap. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. Staff seemed rushed and a bit disengaged, which took away from the overall experience. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not as welcoming or attentive as you'd expect from a venue with such great character. I’d come back for the vibe and drinks, hoping the service improves. There's real potential here if they tighten up on hospitality.
