Great atmosphere last Saturday night! Hoping to return again and again, for sure whenever we next spend the night in Melb CBD. Waiters super helpful and friendly. Bar attracts a really friendly and happy crowd for all ages.

Took my 80yo mother for a special night out to celebrate Mother’s Day. Idea 10/10, entertainment 8/10, bar staff 8/10, booking system 0/10, FOH 0/10. FOH abhorrent customer service skills. You need to review your booking system to make it fair a reasonable and should absolutely prioritise those that booked and paid online over walk-ins. Above all, your FOH needs a personality overhaul and some lessons in human kindness and empathy. Will never be back and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

Have been here before and it was excellent and would definitely come back again. Unfortunately tonight there was a large party group that were very loud and clearly not paying any attention to the piano player at all, so the atmosphere was a little off. Kingsley the pianist was excellent though and was working really hard to engage the crowd. I had booked a table for 7pm and we had settled in for a night of singing along, unfortunately I didn’t realise that the bookings are only valid for 2 hours so once 9pm came along, we were ushered out of our seats, with no other seats available to move to so we essentially just had to leave. I checked afterwards and on the online reservation platform I couldn’t find anywhere that said that the booking was limited to 2 hours. We would have stayed longer and bought more drinks if we were able. A little disappointing. Outside of this, the service is great, the drinks delish, and the music fantastic ☺️ The food is good though a little on the pricey side.

Mur Mur Piano Bar!!!!! We've been there few times and it was amazing!!! Great location, old bar style interior (in most positive way), engaging crowd, great music (Kev was the Piano master last time!!!), food and drinks for every taste. Have to mention that food (in limited menu) comes from Myrtle restaurant downstairs (Chris - amazing chef and his lovely wife) so you will definitively not be disappointed! So, every time we went there we ended up singing whole night together with the rest of the bar crowd. SPECIAL PLACE Check the Bar schedule and who is playing when! Highly recommended Jana & Boris
