My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time, we had come to celebrate our anniversary and the team really stepped up to the plate. Staff were super friendly, they even sent up a personalised happy anniversary card and two free wine cards for the rooftop bar. We will absolutely be back! Thank you QT team!!
Had the pleasure of staying at the QT Melbourne last night. Firstly, what a great location with a variety of dining options less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. As usual from our previous stays here at the QT Melbourne and the QT Queenstown the rooms are exceptional, always spotlessly clean and radiating the QT Melbourne signature scent. It is always a pleasure to stay in their rooms with what i firmly believe are some of the most comfortable beds at any hotel. We stayed for drinks at the Rooftop at QT, which like last month was filled with a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere. As usual the bar staff are exceptional, their attention to detail and willingness to create everything and anything is always well met. I really cannot fault them, they're always polite, friendly, and cordial and never too busy to make you something special. Truly a personalised experience. What seems to be now synonymous with QT Hotels is there excellent and well appointed staff. Everyone appears to know everything and is always willing to help. We unfortunately had some trouble with the key passes for our room which were met with a swift and genuine apology followed by an ever faster fix. Unfortunately, the only let down we had so far was the fact that when it came time to leave, a card covered in their signature scent is usually left in our car, which unfortunately did not occur this time which was a little disappointing as it is such a simple but nice gesture which makes us want to return every time. I know its rather nit-picky but I genuinely really enjoy this addition and makes the trip feel significantly more memorable especially with a 1hr+ drive home.
I was quite disappointed with my stay at QT Melbourne. I was attending a work course early the next morning so was having my first night away from my baby twins. I had planned to make the most of my night away with a nice hotel and a massage. When I arrived at 3:45pm I was told that my room wasn’t ready due to housekeeping issues. I explained I had an appointment at 4:30 and needed to use my breast pump beforehand and asked if there was anywhere quiet where I could express. I was told that I could to use the toilet. A toilet stall is obviously not a hygienic or comfortable location to be collecting milk that is going to be fed to babies. I was very disappointed by this and had to sit in the lobby quite uncomfortable because I had been relying on expressing once I arrived. When I was finally able to access my room at 4:15 it meant I still had to pump and so I was late for and missed a portion of my massage. The bathroom in the room had a bit of a funny smell (perhaps this was the aforementioned housekeeping issue). The location is good but I was quite upset to have my need to express so thoroughly disregarded and this put a dampener on my whole time away. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect to be able to access your room by 4pm (especially on a one night stay).
I stayed at QT Melbourne for 2 nights, and have nothing but great things to say about the experience. My room was spacious, modern, and loved the industrial feel. The rooftop is not be be missed - whether staying here or not. All staff I encountered were friendly, and especially the young lady at the breakfast restaurant ( I did not get her name, although she is originally from Hong Kong but has lived in Melbourne for 10 year ) super outgoing and great customer service. Makes you feel very welcome :) cannot wait to return!!
My friend and I recently stayed at your hotel for a two-night girls’ weekend, and while we were excited for a relaxing escape, our experience unfortunately did not meet the expectations we had when booking a 5-star property. On the first day, we returned to our room at around 3:30pm to find that housekeeping had not yet serviced our room. When we approached the front desk, we were advised, “I’ll ask them, but they’ve had a really busy day today, so I can’t make any promises.” This response was quite disappointing, especially given the premium price of $340 per night, and the level of service we expected as part of that. More significantly, the biggest issue we encountered was the severe lack of soundproofing. Our neighboring guests were clearly having a party, and on both nights we were kept awake well into the early hours of the morning. It felt as though they were in the room with us. We had to call to complain both nights due to the noise, and beyond that, we were subjected to hearing them engage in very loud intimate activities—not once, but on five separate occasions. It was incredibly uncomfortable and not what we would expect in a hotel of this calibre. As two mums simply looking to unwind, enjoy a peaceful cup of tea in bed, and get some much-needed rest, the constant disturbances made our stay far from relaxing. We mentioned this to the front desk on check-out, but the staff member didn’t seem to know how to respond, which further added to our disappointment. On a positive note, the room itself was beautifully designed and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which we appreciated. I hope you take this feedback on board to improve the guest experience, particularly regarding soundproofing and staff responsiveness.
