Came here for a few days getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was in a nice quiet place where you could relax and enjoy life. I had the buffet breakfast and the food was simply amazing and worth every penny. The classic eggs, bacon, etc, fruit, bagels, avocado, cheese. Coffee and juices were available at breakfast including some morning tea items. I would definately come here again. The pool was great, but rather cold as it was outdoors. I enjoyed the spa.
I have been a regular customer at the springs bar & terrace for the last two years. To have a guess maybe 70-80 visits dining there. I live within the grounds of the resort. Percy & Cheetah at the bar are absolutely amazing. But whilst dining there tonight with my kids (approx 6:30 pm 24th November) they decided to quietly play in the kids fun room. Now, they are both over 5 years of age(play room age rules). But were playing by themselves and being very well behaved. Unfortunately, the lady at the main reception (wearing glasses maybe 40s-50s) decided she needed to tell them off and ejected them from the playing room. My kids 7 & 11 came to me crying. Not sure what she said. They didn’t want to tell me. I’m sorry RACV but as an RACV member for the last 25+ years, I will never set foot in the bistro or three founders restaurant again. To think RACV promote themselves as a family friendly accommodation but hire unfriendly and hostile people like that at front of house is very concerning.
The resort room (308) was comfortable. However, the shower leaked water onto the floor from under the shower door and the door to the bathroom squeaked loudly which was very disturbing at night. The staff and service at reception and the restaurant were excellent and helpful. They were supportive when we had to cut short our stay due to a medical emergency and refunded one night's accommodation which was much appreciated.
I stayed here on a special package – 2 nights with breakfasts, a dinner, and $30 drink voucher for $298. The resort is lovely, the breakfast and especially the dinner were very high quality. Highly recommended as an exceptional deal!
Booked a spontaneous night away and RACV did not disappoint. We will definitely be back. The rooms are huge!!! 2 king size beds, a Small dining table with 4 chairs and 2 large arm chairs plus a balcony with 2 seats overlooking the golf course. The bathroom was great too with massive shower and spa bath (which was incredible too). We took a dip in the pool which was a great size and even had a separate shallow toddler area. The spa pool was a nice touch too. There is a great arcade room with complimentary games which was busy each time we went (both kids and adults were enjoying the games). We didn't try either of the restaurants but they were busy so must be good. There are 2 tennis courts - no need to book, just rock up (balls and racquets from the golf shop). There is a great kangaroo walking trail which is about 2km around. We went as it was getting later to see them come out - there were so many!!!! My only feedback and it is small was that the gentleman who checked us in and out never once said have a great stay or did you enjoy your stay. No small talk. Coming from hotels myself I did find this odd but certainly didn't have an impact on the stay. Absolutely wonderful facility and looking forward to returning
