A really nice place to see and learn small things about sea, i said small things because mankind don’t know much about sea actually (only discovered less then 20%) but Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium is quite a big place, it has lots of big aquariums )some really big ones) tropical rain forest, north pole. You can see lots of sea creatures from many kinds of fish, sea lions, sharks, sting rays, jelly fish, sea dragons, sea horses, etc., also exotic frogs, turtles and also big penguins. Passing the admission desk, they will take a picture of you and you can download plenty of pictures provided free of charge. To see all sections might take a half day, anyways, its a nice place to hangout with family or friends and enjoying some interesting creatures.
Loved my visit to Sealife! You can see lots of sea creatures, and there are simple descriptions beside each section informing you of the species and useful information about it. As the place is not too big, it can get a little noisy and crowded with parents and children coming in. Can easily spend 3hrs in this place, just watching the marine animals swim by 🐠🐠🐠
The big underwater tank has just reopened. It's still pretty young and new, the fish will still grow I think as some of the sharks are fairly small compared to what used to be there before the renovations. The croc looks bigger! Is it the same one from last year? Overall, always fun for the children. After 3 laps of the place though, the adults were done but the kids could've gone around another few times 🤪🤪🤪
Went here for a family outing I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is, penguins are great but I think there should be more activities for children and it's very blue you can't see all the natural beautiful colours because if how blue the lighting is. It's very busy also probably be better to have time slots allocated more strictly so that your not all stuck at the first exhibit specially seeing they seem to have a speaker there it's like a roadblock as soon as you get in the centre, my daughter freaked our because of the noise and we had to quickly move out of this area and missed out on what ever was there
Even though it was a public holiday (around easter) and it was super busy we were able to get in no worries at all and no wait time as well. It was super busy but it's so big it was no hassle at all. Tickets are a tad pricey but we spend well over 2 hours in there so it was worth it. This was my second time visiting and I'd happily do it again. Such an amazing experience, so worth it!!
