Tickets were a bit pricey but honestly so worth it. Beautiful aquarium with incredible tanks and penguin exhibit. It gets really busy during the day (even on a weekday) which can be expected, but my overall experience was good! The penguin exhibit seemed a bit small and confined considering the large amount of penguins in it but it was so fun to get up close with them and see them swimming! My favourites were definitely the sharks, turtle and ray.
It was a lovely little visit on a Friday morning! 💙 I can see it's educational benefits which is great for children to learn and explore, as a 26yo it's still really fun and interesting, I did need to wear earplugs because the school tours were a little loud on the speakers but other than that I would recommend!! Will be coming back with my 5yo son next year!
Absolutely awesome morning spent at Sea Life! Loved seeing all of the cool creatures and the enclosures looked large and the animals all looked happy. Can’t believe I got to meet Pesto! Felt like seeing a real celeb! Would definitely recommend the visit, this was such a fun thing to do for all ages!
If you’re a tourist exploring Melbourne, pesto must definitely be on your to do list. We bought tickets at the self serve, making it a lot quicker. There’s informative sessions held at different parts of the aquarium. I’m a huge fan of turtles and I’m glad I got to see one at the giant wall swimming around. The huge baby pesto was a good highlight and would recommend watching the feeding time with the info session as they go into a lot of detail about their day to day and their well being
So many amazing creatures to learn about and view! We had a great time. We visited on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy. The visit was a fairly quick one as there was not as much to do as we anticipated. Nonetheless, we loved seeing baby Pesto and the rest. The animals look very well looked after.
