•Lidia is a phenomenal person at Reception. I arrived distressed last Friday after an intense personal situation. Her nature and earnest support were sincerely appreciated. She was on with another young female, Manisha i think, who took her guidance from Lidia. I commend her and i hope Management value her service
From the moment we checked in right up until leaving the staff were wonderful. The room was wonderful with clean comfortable furnishings and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The art work in our room and around the hotel is definitely a feature and draws your eye easily. We were given great recommendations for places in the area to eat. There a wide range of cuisines available within easy walking distance of the hotel, all those that we tried were great. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quality stay in the Prahran area and it will be our first choice the next time we travel to the area.
We chose this hotel as it was one block from our daughters apartment. Thew room was clean, quiet, and well appointed and the staff was friendly and professional. Most Accor hotels we stay at have breakfast included, but this location doesn't have a restaurant yet, the only drawback. One thing we could have done without was the large painting in our room of a man with a gun. Very off-putting to have that right next to the bed.
I’ve stayed here a few times before in the past, as well as other Cullens regionally and interstate for work and/or fun. This is by far one of the best hotels in the area without a doubt. Lydia (I think that’s your name, I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten already; you were working Sunday 7/12/25 pre-09:30) at the front desk is an angel and a legend, helping me out of a tight spot when she really didn’t have to - absolutely deserving of praise and a raise, ASAP! 💓
Would give negative stars if possible. Booked 2 nights here but left after 1 night due to bedbugs. There were other issues so I cannot recommend this place at all. I travel often but rarely stay in 5 star hotels and usually stay in inns/ motels so this was a splurge but I totally regret it. I've never encountered bedbugs in my years of travel but never thought I would face them in a 5 star hotel. During check in, the Indian female staff at reception said my room number out loud in the presence of other guests. As a frequent traveller, it is common knowledge for hotels to NOT say your room number out loud for security reasons, esp since I was a solo female traveler. My room was 201, at the end and right next to the laundromat. While it was big and I liked the toiletries, that was about it. The black couch, chairs and cushion all had stains and white flakes on them- they badly need a good clean. The kitchenette was poorly equipped. No scissors, dish sponge or proper knife (only a bread knife). How is one supposed to do any actual cooking? The drinking glasses had stains and I had to wash them before using. Yuck. The worst has to be the bedbugs I saw when I awoke the next morning. Saw 4 in total, managed to kill 2 and take photos and video of them to show the hotel. Asked for a refund of my stay and of the $100 deposit they placed on my card. Reception (Lydia) said they will ask management for a 1 night refund but it would take time. I didn't want to risk it so I immediately booked another hotel elsewhere and left. Avoid this place- it's not worth risking bedbugs. Thankfully i found another place- a central hotel with a proper kitchenette, much better service and NO bedbugs.
