Great location — right next to playground and park for families, but also close enough to decent bars and pubs for those preferring a night out. Rooms have the basic amenities and are nicely furnished with unique decor. I appreciate that the hotel promotes sustainable practices and limits plastic/disposable amenities. Overall a good stay.

Thank you for an enjoyable and seamless experience. We stayed one night, easy check in and out. Our room overlooked the park, perfect room size, very clean, fun artwork, loved the gym pass and yoga mat. Underground parking was discounted at check out. Breakfast downstairs cafe was delicious.

I’ve stayed here quite a few times with appointments at the hospital. Most times it’s been memorable for the right reasons, this time I made a request that was ignored. Being aware most rooms have a step in bathtub shower I called in advance and asked for an accessible room. Verbally I was told this will happen, unfortunately upon check in it was a different story. Full house no room available for this but we will get a non slip mat up to your room (this never arrived). We will definitely stay again as I know we have future appointments. Simply bringing this to your attention. I was also billed for a drink that wasn’t consumed but couldn’t be bothered chasing that up.

I've given five stars for the location due to the fact that it is located within the Royal Children's Hospital offering a discount for those who have family staying in the hospital 👌 the rooms are well presented, although the bedding was a let down with the use of only flat sheets and no actual dooner cover 🤔 like most hotels the snacks and mini bar wear over priced with a small bag of plain chips priced at $8 but with that being said the cost of the room was discounted at $160 p/n down from $250 p/n. It's four stars from me

We have stayed at the Larwill twice now due to early morning clinic appointments at the RCH next door. Fantastic to be connected to the hospital, being able to drop our bags in the car and head into the hospital for our appointments in the morning. We always get our breakfast in the hospital cafe, so we have never had the good from the hotel. The only downside for us with the hotel is that the beds have the powerpoints where your head goes in the head board, which is not safe. Although I'm not sure if this might be necessary for medical equipment? It was also a mild annoyance that we were unable to connect our laptop to the TV or stream from our phones to the TV for nighttime. That's not a huge issue though. I've found the parking to be very useful being shared with the hospital, not having to move the car between hotel stay and hospital visit.
