About the venue

Four Larks Cafe is conveniently located on the city edge, and next to the Yarra River, this is the perfect venue to celebrate your next event. The cozy and homey environment will make you feel like hosting your event at home without the need for cleanup. 40 private car parks make transport a breeze, or your guests can just take the tram 109 and 12 that arrive at our doorstep. With a rustic bluestone dance floor and a fully equipped AV package including disco lighting and a smoke machine, we're also the perfect venue to dance the night off. Offering affordable function packages, with flexible options, we are working hard to keep your function costs as low as possible. We might be the only venue in Melbourne offering a BYO beverage package, so you can bring your favourite wines and beers, and we will look after the service! This function space is ideal for a range of events—from birthday parties and anniversaries to corporate gatherings and weddings. The versatility of the event space allows for both small intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, accommodating various layouts to meet your specific needs.

This place is so magical, tuck away just off Victoria St. Great food and customer service throughout my event. The kids young and old had popcorn available throughout the event and kids got paddle pop at the end. Thanks to Peter and Iris for their hospitality.

Four Larks is a fantastic venue for an 18th birthday party. The room is gorgeous at night, beautifully lit with fairy lights and no external decorations are needed. The staff are very professional and experienced in managing this age group. They had great suggestions to make the bar tab spread further and they cheerfully managed ID checks etc. The food was plentiful and nicely presented. Location on the 109 tram line was helpful and there is parking on site. We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s function at Four Larks.

We hosted my sisters Bridal Shower at Four Larks Cafe and it was an amazing event. From the moment I met with Peter, he was incredibly helpful and really went out of his way to help me and my sisters bridesmaids organise the perfect bridal shower. On the day both Peter and Mario were wonderful. The event space itself is beautiful, and the venue comes with great inclusions such as the beautiful vine roof with fairy lights, balloon arch, cake stands and easels - plus you can still customise the space to suit your event. We had a floral theme with a high tea lunch served up on beautiful platters and a wonderful grazing table which was an absolute hit. I had so many comments from guests on how perfect the venue was, and how amazing the day went. My sister was thrilled. I can’t thank Peter and the team enough for making the day so special.

We celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday at Four Larks and it was a fantastic night. Peter was very helpful and accommodating from the start. The venue was presented beautifully and needed very little of our own decoration. The food was delicious with generous serves. The grazing table looked fantastic. The staff were very friendly and looked after everything. I didn’t need to worry about a thing. I highly recommend this venue for any function.
