Had a fantastic stay at Sage Hotel Melbourne, Ringwood! The rooms were modern, spotless, and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and welcoming. The location is perfect—right next to Eastland Shopping Centre with plenty of dining options and easy access to public transport. The breakfast was delicious (costlier though), and overall the hotel has a relaxed yet premium vibe. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays!

Second visit to the Sage Hotel. The hotel is modern and clean with a spacious lobby. The rooms are clean and modern and provide everything needed - frustrations/area of improvement would be the temperamental cast system on the TV, and the house keeping which was missed on some days and not great on others. The duvets are also not great - made with some non breathable material which isn't comfortable. Breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly. Location is also very good with cheap parking and immediate access to Ringwood mall and restaurants. Great for a business trip.

There was a lot of good, but also some less good aspects that did not fit the $220 a night price point. The good: Parking and check-in was good! Was able to check in early which is a large reason my review is still 4 stars. The room was a nice size, it’s always nice when there’s more furniture than just the bed. Nice big windows too. TV has chrome cast which is a nice touch… in fact there were a lot of small nice touches that definitely elevated the room, including the coffee pod machine, hot chocolate sachets and tea options other than just the standard black tea and even a small retractable clothes line in the shower. The bed was reasonable. Appreciated the VERY decent pillows, a rarity when travelling. The bed was quite firm though. Checkout was 11am instead of the standard 10am you find most other places which was also greatly appreciated and service was usually very friendly and helpful. The less good: My biggest issue - the bathroom was really not very clean. The shower needed a good wipe down but also the grout on the floor was very visibly dirty, with some hints of mould around the edges making me think it’s not getting cleaned thoroughly in general. There were also random finger smudges on the walls - not something you want to see in a bathroom. Didn’t bother mentioning it as we only stayed one night, but would not have wanted to take multiple showers there. The rest of the room was clean, but surprisingly ‘used’. Lots of chips and scuffs around the place, especially the desk. The desk chair was looking very sad and worn, and was impossibly uncomfortable. It seems a bit like these rooms are set up more for one person than two. Only one extra chair (two only if you count the desk chair) and the bathroom quite squishy if two people are trying to use it, especially considering access for hanging space and suitcase storage is also in the bathroom. Quite frustrating that there were quite a few limits around the in room dining. I was very surprised to see in room dining closed from 11am-6pm. I understand needing to close for a bit in the afternoon as it seems they offer in room dining all night… but not being able to get lunch was a bit inconvenient. All in all I’d still recommend the place, other reviews have mentioned the rooms being clean so there’s a chance I just got a dud.

Recently stayed at the Sage for a mid-week getaway with a certain someone special, and was thoroughly impressed. The room exceeded expectations - spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. Special mention must go to the furniture selection, particularly the seating arrangements. The grey fabric chair with its generous proportions and that distinctive winged headrest is an absolute triumph of design. Remarkably supportive and accommodating for extended periods of relaxation. We easily spent hours appreciating its versatility together. That chair really is something special. Worth the stay alone. The room layout offers excellent privacy and the soundproofing is superb - perfect for those who value discretion during their stay, as we did. The lighting is wonderfully adjustable too, from bright and practical to atmospherically dim and most suitable to capture extra special moments for posterity. Staff were professional and admirably discreet, never intrusive yet always available when needed. The late checkout option was particularly appreciated after a rather eventful evening. Would absolutely recommend the Sage to anyone seeking a memorable experience. This establishment clearly understands what their guests are looking for. Already planning our next rendezvous there .

Smells divine, like a high end luxury hotel, the decor is industrial with a retro quirk. I really liked the mood when I arrived, easy parking, a fantastic huge hot desk office area, and a great looking restaurant. The lobby and bar have loads of casual seating and sofas. Eastland shopping centre is accessible through the carpark, so very handy for access to cafes, restaurants, cinema, beauty facilities and shopping. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the room. Very dusty, worn and needs painting due to scuffing everywhere. The shower is great with awesome water pressure but the bath room in the standard King room is tiny and not functional in terms of towel hooks, toilet location and space for more than one person. There is open clothes hanging space but no enclosed cupboard. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Recommended for one night as these things can be overlooked for a quick stay, but the dust and cleanliness of the carpet lets it down. For sufferers of dust allergies and asthma, I do not recommend this hotel.
