We recently hosted end of year Christmas party at Metropolis and the venue was beautiful! The highlight of the venue the large balcony that overlooks the Yarra River and the Melbourne CBD skyline, the view was lovely on the sunny day that our event was on. Thank you to Yvonne and Angela who made the event planning process seamless. Thanks also to the on the day event staff who were very attentive.

Where do I even begin to express the sheer gratitude and awe we feel after our unforgettable wedding experience at Metropolis? From the moment we began planning our special day, and throughout the entire process, Yvonne, Lin, and the entire team at Metropolis, alongside Toff & Technical Events, demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and genuine care that went above and beyond our expectations. We were truly blown away by the level of service and hospitality provided by the entire Metropolis staff on the day of our wedding. Each team member played a crucial role in ensuring that every moment was executed flawlessly, allowing us to savour every precious second of our celebration. From fluffing my dress just before our grand entrance, to carrying me up the stairs because I was too exhausted at the end of the night in my Lehenga, and even helping our family find their way to the loading docks and assisting them in loading the cars at the end of the night—the team was an absolute dream! The attention to detail, seamless coordination, and genuine warmth from the team made our wedding day an absolute dream come true. Our guests are still raving about the impeccable service, the incredible food, and the overall enchanting ambiance that Metropolis effortlessly provided. Yvonne, Lin, and the entire team genuinely cared about making our day special and memorable. For that, our hearts are full of gratitude for the magical memories they helped us create with our family and friends. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for making our wedding day an experience that will forever be etched in our minds. We picked metropolis events for our wedding ceremony and reception on 11 May 2024 and wowie what an amazing venue! The panoramic city skyline views truly made the night magical! The service from the staff on the night was impeccable and everything ran according to plan. Leading up to the event Yvonne was always there to answer our questions and accomodate all our requests! The best day of our lives made even more memorable by a fantastic event space and team!

Beautiful location, views of the yarra and the city. Large glass windows provide plenty of light. The corporate event attended had almost 400, mostly standing, for 3 and a half hours. Canapes were alright - fried chicken bites, tuna soft tacos, fried sweet potato balls, gnocchi bowls, fish and chips boxes, pizza slices. Waiters were happy to serve and did the rounds well. 4 alcoholic drinks - wine and beer. Non alcoholic drinks - 1 mocktail and soft drinks with lemon lime bitter and ginger ale included. Small outdoor balcony space available. Coat rack and some inbuilt seats near the bar available. Security at entry at the bottom of escalators. Not sure if toilets were available inside.

JUST AMAZING!! An incredible venue with even more incredible staff. Our wedding planner Natasha was so attentive to every one of our requests in the lead up to our big day. She truly took all the stress off our shoulders and delivered above and beyond expectations. Lynne and Victoria were also fantastic on the night in ensuring everything ran smoothly, and it really did. The sales manager Kylie was also wonderful to deal with in the early stages. I cannot thank this venue and their team enough for making our dream wedding come true!
