We just had our wedding here on June 2nd 2025 and I could not be more thankful to the whole team at Metropolis for making our dream wedding a reality. Our wedding planner, Natasha, assisted us through the whole planning journey and was so helpful and kind. The best wedding/events venue in Melbourne! We had the most amazing experience - I couldn't recommend more. The venue is absolutely stunning; the pictures say it all. Our wedding planner, Natasha, was incredible! We couldn't have planned this wedding without her. Natasha and the entire team were so accommodating, thoughtful and attentive. They went above and beyond at every point along the journey in helping us have the wedding of our dreams. From the moment we first viewed the venue, to the various stages of planning and the actual wedding itself - the team shared in our excitement and did everything they could to make the whole experience so special. We just had our wedding at Metropolis Events on the 7th June, 2025. It was such a perfect night. The venue really speaks for itself and you have so many options to "dress it up" even more or have something more simple, its really just the most beautiful canvas to work with. The floor to ceiling windows give a feeling of grandeur and space that you don't get with a lot of other indoor wedding spaces. There is also a large balcony with stunning views of the Yarra river. We had both our ceremony and reception here and being a winter wedding, this was perfect. There is ample parking on site, or, of course so many public transport or uber/taxi options. Once our guests arrived, they didn't have to go anywhere else and just cosied in for a fabulous night. The cocktails and canapes we had post ceremony were divine. The food here is really the best we came across, which was one of our main ticket items. I (the bride) did a lot of my own decorations and the staff were so accommodating of this and followed instructions easily to make a perfect set up. The guest bathrooms are also really beautiful and there are 2 "green rooms" or bridal suites that can be used for the bridal parties, they are a great size and something we really appreciated having access to. Natasha D was our wedding coordinator, Natasha made us feel really calm and supported the entire way through (this can be a really stressful time) so having that calm presence who you could trust was across absolutely everything, gave me that extra support and guidance I needed. Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking and after the first meeting, you will be given ample resources to help you from bands to live instrumentals, decorations, the works. Metropolis is a one stop shop. We highly recommend them and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. Laura and Tom 07.06.2025

We had an incredible night celebrating our wedding at Metropolis! The venue is beautiful and the view of the city skyline in the evening was stunning as well! The Metropolis team as well as their partners Tech Events & Tandoori Flames were great to work with through the planning and made sure our night was as seamless as possible. The team was receptive to any changes, provided different options and called out things to consider as we discussed our ideas.
