We recently had our wedding at Metropolis, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning — the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Yarra and city skyline created such an incredible backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. The team at Metropolis were exceptional to work with — so professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing, the service was seamless, and the overall atmosphere was elegant yet warm.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of hosting both our wedding ceremony and reception at Metropolis Events, and we cannot recommend this stunning venue highly enough. From the moment we first visited, we were blown away by the breathtaking views over Melbourne’s iconic Yarra River and CBD skyline — it truly set the perfect backdrop for our special day. Throughout the planning process, we had the privilege of working with Event Coordinator, Natasha, who was simply incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely kind, Natasha made the entire lead-up to the wedding smooth and stress-free. She was always responsive and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly how we envisioned it. On the day itself, the operations team were outstanding. A special shoutout to Lin and Tessa, who were not only professional and calm under pressure but also incredibly thoughtful and supportive — they made everything run seamlessly and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. The catering team also deserves high praise. The chef, kitchen staff, waiters, and bar staff were phenomenal. From the generous and delicious cocktail hour canapés to the beautifully plated entrees, mains, and desserts, every dish was met with glowing compliments from our guests. The food and service exceeded all expectations. Metropolis Events also offers an exceptional list of external partners and suppliers, including fantastic DJs, AV/technical support, and a fun photo booth experience — all of whom were absolute professionals and played a key role in making our wedding day unforgettable. We truly could not fault a single aspect of our experience with Metropolis Events. We got married in June and Metropolis was such a beautiful venue! From the food to the service and on the night event coordination everything was perfect. Just would like to shout out Natasha our wedding planner she was amazing. We worked closely with Natasha just after Christmas her service was above and beyond, from her initial meeting to her last email she worked closely with us ensuring everything would run smoothly, and took the stress away. We recently had our wedding at Metropolis Events. The venue is an absolute 10/10 with a view overlooking Flinders Station and the Yarra. The team was very professional in dealing with external vendors and the staff was very friendly. Our one complaint would be that they did not stick to one of our dietary requirements. Overall, very satisfied with the service and would recommend this venue for your big events.
