Arriving at 202 Normanby Road in Southbank, guests will go up to Strato Melbourne via a private entry located in the stunning lobby of Oakwood Premier Melbourne. Upon arriving at the 40th floor, the impressive entrance allows guests to experience the height of Strato from the moment they arrive at the venue, acting as a glass floor sitting above the bustling city. To the left of the foyer is the main Strato Bar and Lounge, hosting up to 70 people and to the right sits our restaurant. Above both areas sits Level 41, an exclusive function and event space dedicated to supporting special occasions, private functions and V.I.P’s who need privacy with a view.
Strato Bar boasts a 16-metre stone bar with an illuminated glass brick frame. Attached to the main bar and lounge is an alfresco terrace, perfect for warmer nights, resembling the famous rooftops in New York City. With 7-meter tall glass windows, guests will enjoy views of the city skyline whilst enjoying our elevated menu, seasonal cocktails, wines and locally crafted beers.
Strato, the restaurant, is romantically modern, seating up to 114 guests and providing exceptional views of Port Phillip Bay. The restaurant has its own live kitchen, made from a stone benchtop and filtered glass bottom that is subtly lit. Within the restaurant sits three concave booths separated from the main dining area, a perfect option for date night

One of the place that have a really good atmosphere located in height building and give you a really pretty city view. Most of people came here for fine dining event. You can reach the building by public transport and need little bit walking. The food not really bad but for me, for the class of fine dining restaurant with city view are too simple. The entry maybe good, but the main course and dessert are too simple. The service from 1-10 was 6, the atmosphere, 90 percent good. If you want to take your girlfriend or boyfriend here affordable standard food. The bar decoration so amazing I really love it though.

It was a lovely experience celebrating our 9 year anniversary. Staff were so warm and hospitable, we really felt valued. Food was alright, some more seasoning would make it perfect. However it’s okay, portions sizes were good, prices were reasonable. Ambiance is really good. The little anniversary dessert was a really nice touch and we appreciated that. Overall a nice experience. The only feedback is the seasoning 🧂 Thank you.

Went there a week ago for a birthday or 4 and the food was not it. At all. My friend got food poisoning and only 2/4 of us enjoyed the meals. The food looked amazing but there was a lack of seasoning, and what was seasoned wasn’t seasoned well. The views and the atmosphere are amazing but the food was way over priced for the flavour. Our waiter was absolutely amazing though. I forgot her name but she was an Asian girl with beautiful long hair. She was so sweet, so lovely, so bubbly and overall so pleasant to interact with. She made the experience a whole lot better.

My partner and I had an incredible night at Strato. I very very rarely would say a place is faultless, but there is nothing I would change about this restaurant. The service in particular was amazing, going as far as giving us an extra little plate for our anniversary.The food and cocktails were perfection.My partner is very new to a nice dining experience, and this blew him away too.I would HIGHLY recommend Strato especially for a date night.

Alex's guidance and support throughout the planning process were invaluable, and Sam's attention to detail on the wedding night made everything run smoothly. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and professionalism. The bar staff and waiters were also exceptional. We had so much positive feedback from our guests.
