@vichotelyarraville 📍 Such a spacious and lively venue on a weeknight! This beer garden was massive, and so chill with locals and families alike. The live music made it such a wonderful evening. They cater for large groups with kids with their playground and children friendly spaces. Their pub grub was also delish! Highly rated the seared barramundi cooked to perfection ✨🌟 - Chicken Parma $30 (huge!) - pan seared barramundi $34 🌟 - scotch fillet $49 - sticky date pudding $15 - lemon lime bitters $7.30 - moondog peach ice tea $8.30 🌟 - Apple juice $6.50
Have you visited this beer garden in Yarraville? The beer garden here is stunning - the perfect spot to enjoy a drink this summer and a meal outdoors. We loved the southern fried chicken burger and the cauliflower croquettes. Make sure to give them a visit next time you feel like enjoying Melbournes weather
ORDERED: 🐄 300g Scotch: with Fries, house salad, gravy, garlic butter ($49.00) 🍕 Chilli Prawn Pizza: Tomato, mozzarella, oregano ($28.00) REVIEW: In terms of food, splitting with friends/family is the best! 👍 The scotch was split between two, while the pizza was split between 3. The scotch was delicious, cooked well, and the salad was a great accompaniment. I was able to request mustard from the bar and the kitchen happily gave me a squeeze of hot mustard. Thank you very much! 🙇♀️ It made my steak experience so much more enjoyable. My issues with Victoria Hotel came with the dirty plates and non-functioning outside heaters. 1. When I asked for share plates, we were initially given dirty ones. I flagged (chased) a waiter down, who then provided another round of "new" plates. Although the top plate was clean, the other plates underneath was dirty. It was crazy 😭😭. I gave up in the end and wiped off what I could. 2. It was also a bit cold outside. We asked for the team to use the outside heater. Staff were happy to start one up... but they ended up rotating between 3 heaters because none of them worked 😰😰😰. The Victoria Hotel Yarraville is family friendly (as other reviewers have mentioned). Perfect for smaller kids, there's gated playgrounds for kids to roam freely. There's also plenty of parking outside! 🚗
The beer garden and kids area are great. Everything is freshly renovated and the kids are a big fan of the soft serve bar. We've come here often especially meeting with groups with kids because it's convenient and spacious. However the food is always mediocre for the price. The ham and pineapple pizza had a single piece of pineapple for each slice and was pretty bland...expect more from a $27 pizza.
great venue really well set up for families! However l feel compelled to make a shout out on the food we ordered as it was SO bad and such a disappointment. My husband and l both order Nachos with Chicken which was undoubtedly the worst lve ever had. There was a red sauce that was so sweet, tasted like tomato sauce (l can only assume this was meant to be salsa) The cheese wasn’t real, l can only describe it like the fake bright yellow melted cheese you might see on a MacDonalds burger and finally l ordered chicken on mine which l assumed would be incorporated as a shredded chicken style but instead it was a plain grilled chicken breast chopped up on top. i would strongly suggest that the establishment review this dish it really isn’t good at all and not not cheap!
