My partner and I love having lunch here, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Best steak sandwiches we have ever had, excellent value for money meals. Perfect lemon lime and bitters
Arrived for lunch, the welcome was frosty. The menu did not inspire me at all. I settled on the Pepperoni Pizza, what a bad choice. A tasteless industrial pizza with a layer of very greasy industrial cheese. Nothing to do with a pizza made in a real restaurant. As for the atmosphere, too much music unsuitable for a restaurant and at a loud volume. As the room is certainly not soundproofed, there was a resonance and talking normally was very difficult. Ok, most of the "restaurants" here do not have the subtlety to put on background music that is pleasant for everyone. But that is another debate. In any case, I will not return to this restaurant, the number of stars awarded to this establishment had guided my choice. But according to my international experience, it is very overrated. I put one star for the ownership of the place. I do not recommend this restaurant.
For $20 I received a nice thick cut of steak cooked exactly the way I ordered it. So well done. It's $25 with the pint you have to order. Very good quality food at 30%less than other local bars in Bunbury... (Ok it is the Tuesday special) But so worth it. I'll be back.
Much better than the last 2 times I've been there in 2017 and 2022. Steak was great, falvours were great. The only issue it was all pretty cold.
Went for lunch yesterday, first experience with the Highway. Two servers doing an impressive amount of work and giving fantastic service for how under the pump they were. Food was delicious - had the chicken burger, but two in my party had the Sunday Surf'n'Turf with a drink for $25, which is amazing value for money. Bistro wasn't too noisy, comfortable seating, lovely venue. Now I'm looking forward to coming back a second time! Keep up the great work!
