A lunch at the Balmoral Hotel was a casual affair. 3 decent sized battered fish Tacos, coleslaw with lime , chilli and salsa. It was generous but, the salsa was lacking in some spicy goodness. Overall, served quickly, atmosphere was nice. A nice lunch.

Only stopped in for a drink & to relax ( so can't comment on food ) the barman was polite & friendly service quick ( observation ) big place indoors & outdoors it has a wow factor with different areas noticed the tables were already set up ( look at pics ) very clever & professional it added a special well thought out touch. ( will have to come for a meal )

The food was great. I ordered the Popcorn Cauliflower Taco as it sounded tantalizing and it was quite good. The service on the otherhand was appalling. Appalling in terms being served by the maître d' in charge of the room who seemed somewhat unfriendly and unorganised and lack of coordination with her team. Her expression and abruptness said it all. Several of the waiters may need to improve on their services too. Two out ten meals arrived fifty-ish mins apart. Food taking well over forever to arrive. We all just wanted to eat and celebrate together. Had a great cosy atmosphere to compliment the venue, but sadly the let down was the service.

Great food and atmosphere. Lots of seating areas, indoor and out. Mobile phone order and pay at your table, which is a pain when it isn't straightforward. Furthermore, it was weird to be asked for tips when you did all the hard work placing your own orders, giving your details away, and yet to experience the service from the waitperson and the establishment, and yet to taste the food. Credit card surcharge applies.
