Overall this place is really amazing, the staff were so kind and the lamb I got was spectacular and the sauce was beautiful it got me eating the vegetables with it ( I never eat vegetables lol ), the tiramisu was beautiful but the coffee was way way to strong and I choked on it with every bite, the lamb meat was tender and succulent, the $40 multi meat starter was average with the ham being processed and the other fatty meat being unedible but the other two meats the prosciutto and the salami was really really good. For $42 for a starter is steep but overall my dining experience was amazing and my lemon lime bitters were amazing. Would recommend this place just avoid the tiramisu and maybe the seafood for a main it wasn’t the best says my dad for portion size, otherwise 4.5/5 star place would recommend ( it wasn’t $290 in the end though for 2 people and one person had non alcoholic so it’s expensive)
Dinner tonight at La Sosta was delicious 😋. Emile was an excellent ambassador for the food and all his suggestions were tried and enjoyed by us. Must try the food here when you visit Fremantle. The octopus carpaccio, porchetta, gnocchi, panacotta and tiramisu were delicious and so well presented. Good selection of wine and beer and cocktails too. Well positioned in Fremantle close to lots of parking. Thank you La Sosta chef, Emile and team for a lovely dining experience. We will be back.
5 ⭐️ stars experience, best Italian restaurant in Freemantle. We love La Sosta and made a special trip here all the way from Brisbane as recommended by some friends. For our fussy family, you pleased everyone with the best dinner and desserts. Crème brûlée the best ever and the porcetta as well as prawn lasagnola amazing. Customer service 5 stars with staff so attentive. Atmosphere good vibes, we shall be back, thank you La Sosta bellisima.
We dined at La Sosta as a group of four and were absolutely blown away by the entire experience. We started with a selection of entrées, the Focaccia, Focaccia di Recco, Salsiccia Luganega della Casa, Frittura di Calamari, and Crudo di Pesce, and every single dish was outstanding, bursting with authentic flavour and beautifully presented. I had the Porchetta as my main, and it was cooked to absolute perfection, tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. We also had the pleasure of meeting Leo, one of the chefs, whose passion for his craft really shone through. We walked in with no expectations, but left genuinely amazed by the food, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the incredible staff. A true five-star experience, highly recommended!
What a shame!!!!! We decided to have dinner here because I remember that this restaurant was very nice…. Unfortunately something changed. We waited more than 1 hour for the mains and wasn’t even busy, was a Monday. We ordered a Fiorentina and they serve it completely burned and overcooked (but we asked rare, this is how supposed to be a Fiorentina, please see pictures) We also ordered the pappardelle but I couldn’t even finish the pasta. You could taste just the red wine, you could even smell the wine. Vegetables were full of sand. We wasted 800$ and the dinner ruined our night out. First time in my life I had a bad experience like this one. When the waiter asked how was the food I said what was wrong and he walked away without even give me an explanation. We were all Italians and we exactly know how this food should be cooked and how it should taste. Orrible experience. Very disappointed.
