Popped into the Greenwood today for lunch as I haven’t been here for years. Trying to be healthier and went for the pumpkin salad and was NOT disappointed at all. The serving was huge, the combination of sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts, parmesan, spinach and sauce was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t stop shovelling it into my face and wanted more at the end. Next time I would add some chicken to make it better….if that’s at all possible. Wow. Definitely coming back to try the Caesar salad now too. Heaps of parking great atmosphere and great food. What more could you want. Bravo to the hard working kitchen staff. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Greenwood for anyone with food allergies. Forgetting my last similar experience at this venue I called in for an early lunch yesterday with friends. Again, I discovered not one item on the menu was Coeliac friendly. I queried this with a staff member who very politely told me that the only “guaranteed” gluten free item was the mashed potatoes! She explained that this was due to the fact that the Greenwood is owned by a large restaurant chain and decisions on menu items are made by chain management. I responded that this was disappointing and that Gluten Allergies are very common- most venues include options for this diet nowadays. I understand that managing allergies in a commercial kitchen is difficult but it definitely can be done with a bit of forethought and planning. In the end I ordered the Chicken Caesar minus croutons and dressing which seemed like the only possible alternative at nearly $30. The chicken tasted rancid. My friend’s fish and chips left her unsatisfied with the chips over cooked in old flavoured oil. We won’t return for this quality of service when so many better alternatives can be sourced elsewhere. My hope in sharing this honest feedback is that it drives change on improved options for customers in the future.

Went there today for a meal for my sons 21st bday. Honestly the food was 100% on point. Was pleasantly surprised cos my last visit bout 8 years ago the food was utter shite. Keep up the good word. Kudos to the Chef.

The Greenwood Hotel is a great spot for families. We usually go there once or twice on weekends after our regular family runs, and it’s become one of our go to places. We often come as a group of nine, and it’s always comfortable. The seating is spacious, parking is easy, and the overall setup works really well for families. The kids absolutely love it there, especially the kids’ meals, and the steak has been consistently very good too. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food comes out quite quickly without compromising on quality. Overall, it’s a reliable and enjoyable place for a family meal, and we’ll definitely keep coming back.

Took the family out for my little one (Thomas), it was his 6th birthday. The food was good! I was at the bar talking to the absolute legend pouring me my drink Charlie, had a great time chatting to him and must say it was a good beer he got me, he also had a lot of jokes up his sleeve! Great guy.
