Built in the 1880s, The Queens Tavern has been serving thirsty locals and alike for more than a century.

As one of Perth's oldest and popular pubs, we merge our beliefs of timeless style, good food, old-school service and great beer together to make every experience memorable.

Located in Highgate, we're a stone's throw away from the CBD, and from Banks Reserve on the Swan River. It'll take you three minutes to get to HBF Park, or even less to pay a visit to Hyde Park. We're centrally located on Beaufort Street, the perfect spot to experience the best of Perth and its surroundings.

Our Queens Restaurant is our full table service offering and our menu boasts ingredients that celebrate our local producers, with succulent steaks, fresh seafood and pub favourites taken to the next level. We are regulars and have always enjoyed meals at the Queens but lately the meals have gone from good to amazing! Is there a new chef ? What ever it is ...keep doing what your doing ! Steaks never fail to impress and the Beef Cheek Pasta Ragu tonight was delicious 😋 the pork cutlet is really good too ! Sat by the fire 🔥 perfect atmosphere and nice wines 🍷

The Queens Tavern hosted my wedding party and my husband and I after our ceremony at Old Tower House on Friday, August 15th — and I truly could not have chosen a better venue for our post-wedding lunch! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the day so special, surprising us with complimentary bubbles, olives, hot chips, and even limoncello jelly shots! The food was absolutely incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the service exceeded every expectation. It was all anyone could talk about, and it made the celebration even more memorable. My husband and I have decided to make it a tradition to return every year for our anniversary — that’s how much it meant to us. Thank you so much to the entire team for the warmth, care, and joy you brought to our day.

Went for lunch. Wanted to stay forever. Ordered the meatballs, Caprese salad & beef cheek buccatini. Highly recommend for a nice atmosphered mid-week Italian lunch. Great value for flavour & portion size.

Dined at The Queens for my friend's 40th. Shan looked after our table, we were 10 peopleand she has been so patient with all of our requests, very friendly and accommodating with all our needs. I've been restaurant manager on Melbourne and I can tell Shan knows what she is doing and definitely has high skills for customers service. Thank you so much again for the amazing experience! STOP reading this review, and order the focaccia with ricotta and olives, already. I could eat that sweet, spongy bread and cheese every day of the week. Oh, and topping it off with the tomatoes!? Perfection.
