I came to Queens on a long weekend Saturday. Very peaceful, as it usually very busy at lunchtime on weekends. I had the Meatball Sub, which was delicious and filling. Great atmosphere and service. Nice wood fires and beautiful bar areas. Highly recommend this great pub.
Terrible food. If they hadn’t taken my money up front I would’ve disputed payment Food is not as described on the menu. Truffled potatoes didn’t taste like truffle in the slightest. See attached images for the screen shot of the calamari from their website compared to what was served. The menu says calamari as being served with salsa verde instead it came with a cheap tartar. And deep fried ravioli was gross. Everything about the meal was absolute rubbish.
Have been to the Queens a few times over the years and it’s a nice old style pub with a great vibe. Staff are friendly, food is good and a quality selection of beers on tap. There’s parking out the back or you can park on one of the side streets not far from the pub. Would recommend popping in for a pizza and pint if you’re in the area.
It was ok. Service was meh. Asking for a tip when you order is not cool guys. Food wasn’t bad. Kinda of place you catch up with friends or in a group. Not really a lets go eat here place. It used to be. As for the garlic bread? Was someone tripping when they’re going through menu ideas? You couldn’t even taste the garlic, it was mostly dry. What were you thinking putting this on the menu. Oh and a pub that doesn’t even serve sparkling/mineral water (we did drink as well) Is a low score.
Last minute decision to head into La Regina. Amazing service from Caitlin, she had everything under control on a busy night. Food was delicious, 5 out of 5 recommend! Thank you :)
