I’ve been here twice now & the service is SLOW & beer $1.50 more expensive than what I pay for a pint of lashes in the Pilbara ($15.50 bs $14 ??? Makes no sense, oh and a wet/sticky table that found my sleeve… Only good point is the retro music mix…. I don’t think I’ll try their food tbh, as I would expect to be overcharged and disappointed.

🟨 My husband and I came to Perth twice in the past. We also visited Brass Monkey Hotel twice for a meal and a coffee. 🟩 We went there once in the morning by ourselves ( for lunch) and at night time for drinks with my cousins. 🔵 This beautiful and retro looking hotel has this rooftop dining eatery overlooking the streets. That's where I had my fish and chips. 🟨 However, one female middle-aged wait staff took sometime to attend to us. Like others were served before us, and she took a long time to come to our table. ▪︎ I think I know why, but I didn't want to create issues on the spot. 😅 I am a tourist there, so I kept quiet and tried to be patient. ❇️ 🙏🏻 Anyway, that's the past and I didn't want to hold it against her. So I let it go and enjoyed my meal. ( this is just feedback). 🟧 All in all, the meal was good and I do like the vintage ambience of the hotel and the eatery.

Place is great for some arvo or night drinks, as well as some great food. The servers there ate incredible. Adrian helped me get a nice crisp pint without anh worries. Would reccomend and go again!

We had such a great night! the highlight was definitely the bartender Emily. She looked after us all evening with fast, friendly service and had us laughing the whole time. It’s rare to find someone who can keep the drinks flowing and the vibe so fun at the same time. Can’t wait to come back – thanks Emily for making our night!

We've been coming here for the past few months on my day off. So far, Adrian is the best bartender we've met in Brass Monkey. He's got the best attitude as a bartender in terms of engaging with the customer. As long as we live in Perth, now Brass Monkey is the best place to hangout on my day off because of him. William’s Bar is our recently renovated ground floor function space. The semi-private area has its own bar, and we can set up this room however you would like with high tables or low stool-style seating options for groups of 30 or 40.

Rooftop Bar

This upstairs bar has a great view of James Street and offers music for all occasions. It's the perfect place to have an engagement party, birthday party or other special events with views that will make it feel like you're in paradise! Oh, did we mention there is also a dance floor?
