The service, location and interior of the rooms are wonderful. Clean and comfortable is all you really need. However our pool view had a lot to be desired. It was not what we expected at all. I suggest asking for a ground floor pool view rather than the fourth floor... Or pretty much any other view they have but not fourth floor car park views!

We were booked there by a Company for a Christmas party 9in another location). The location was great, central to many places in Freo. The bed was very comfy and the staff were excellent. We had a very late check in and they were very helpful. We also had an issue with parking and the staff went out of their way to resolve it! However, there re a few things that need attention. I have seen similar reviews from previous guests but nothing has been done about it but I’ll still put it here and hope that the hotel management actually does something about it. So here goes my list: No bin in the bathroom nor bin liners in the room bin. Where do you dispose off sanitary towels? No toilet brush No body lotion in the bathroom No hand wash No complimentary water - $5 dollars for a water? For $400 a night, I expected much better…. Thanks

I’m sitting by the pool as I write this, and honestly, this place is amazing. The service has been next-level — especially Kayleigh, who’s been absolutely fantastic. She’s friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience effortless. Drinks and food came out super quick, and everything has been spot-on. The atmosphere is perfect — relaxing, classy, and you can really just unwind here. It’s rare to find a place that nails both service and vibe, but this one does it flawlessly. Huge thanks to Kayleigh and the team for making my day genuinely perfect. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel stay for our family. Check in was a breeze. For those driving, you can stop your car in front of the hotel(stick to the left side so you won’t block the other cars), upload your luggage and do the check in, you can return to drive your car to hotel carpark later on it’s perfectly fine. Greatly ease the whole check in process.

Just had a mini break at the Esplanade Hotel. We arrived early before afternoon checkin to make the most of our stay. We were checked in by Taylor. Whom was very efficient and helpful. He stored our cases for us and gave us some very good options of where to go, until our room was ready. Lovely, room with balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was lovely and heated. Staff very helpful, thankyou for our wonderful relaxing stay.
