Spent 9 nights here. Room is spacious. Air con is too loud. Small kitchen to cook simple meals. Location very good. Near to train station and main shopping area. Near to CAT bus stops. Booked a room with housekeeping but only given one housekeeping day.
At 10:50, on 27/11/24 the restaurant was already closed, having shut its doors at 9:30. I was desperate for coffee, so I entered and asked a lady if they were still open. She kindly explained that they had closed at 9:30 and would reopen for lunch at 4:30. I then asked if she could make me a coffee, and to my surprise, she left her work to prepare one for me. “Asian lady wearing a green cheque shirt. I want to highlight the exceptional customer service she provided; she was very empathetic and genuinely helpful. I would like to request that the owner ensure she remains employed, as she is an asset to Oaks. I will definitely be returning with my family for dinner!
I recently stayed at Oaks Perth, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is fantastic, with the Perth Underground Station just a short walk away, providing easy access to most subway lines in the city. I loved being close to the Sushi Hub near the station—it’s definitely worth a visit! Additionally, we found convenient shortcuts to Wellington Street and William Street through Raine Square, which also features a food court and a Coles Mart, perfect for quick meals or snacks. Don’t miss out on The Wolf Espresso at the back of the hotel; it’s a delightful spot for coffee. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, complete with amenities like a pantry that included a microwave, electric kettle, utensils, and complimentary coffee, tea, and milk. Another plus was the hotel’s flexibility with luggage; they allowed us to store our bags until the evening since checkout was at 10 AM. The only downside was the air conditioner, which seemed a bit old and was positioned facing the bed, making it a little less comfortable. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Oaks Perth and would recommend it for its excellent location and amenities!
In the heart of the Perth city. Excellent for the tourist to stay, reaching anywhere within the walking distance. Close to the BusPort which can let you transfer from different free CAT buses. The room is clean with a small pantry, family-friendly. The room is a bit timely but comfy and clean. That’s the most important thing for me.
Excellent location, 2 minutes walk to train station and CBD, plenty bars and restaurants around the area. Room was spacious and clean, downside was the noise from the AC unit. Staff at check in and the bar were excellent, also probably the cheapest pint in Perth, $9. Would definitely stay here again.
