On Murdoch Road in Perth's south east suburbs, The Lakers Tavern has been serving locals and visitors for years.

Known for being an old school pub, our spacious bistro has been updated to fit the box of your local. We're dedicated to bringing you delicious food in our Bistro, with a large dining area for you to share a meal with loved ones while enjoying a drop or two. It's the perfect spot for a pre-gig meal, overdue family catch up or intimate date night.

Cosy up in front of the fire in our Bistro and have your choice of a menu inspired by local produce. Our menu offers everything from succulent steaks, fresh seafood and healthy salads, to the classic pub fare you know and love. If it's a drink you're after, choose from one of our many ice cold beers on tap and toast to the sun going down in our beer garden.

Perfect to catch the game, for a quiet drink after work or to celebrate a milestone with mates. The Lakers Tavern has been a meeting place for the community, and a local favourite in Thornlie for years.

Pros: Good service, good food, reasonably priced, came out quick. Monday night, so place wasn’t packed, but was nice and warm, light background music, good atmosphere. Parking was easy, we are in a large camper-van with a trailer and still were able to find an easy park. Cons: Didn’t see any wheelchair/pram accessible entries around the front, had to lift and carry our pram up the stairs and back down upon exit. No signs displayed to advise of wheelchair accessible entry. Chicken schnitzel was not your standard schnitzel style, please read the menu properly before ordering. It wasn’t bad, but certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. I still ate it.

What a lovely neighborhood gem! Lakers Tavern has a lovely atmosphere with a very nice and cozy vibe. Our group of 15 friends have a wonderful time celebrating two birthdays. Though we wished all the meals could be served at the same time, the meals we got were all delicious so we didn’t really mind the wait. Granted the place were really bustling. A special shout out to Craig for his attentive & cheerful service. This guy deserves a staff of the month award! Overall we have a lovely time & we’ll definitely be back to try out other dishes.

I recently hosted my baby shower at Lakers, and I can't recommend it enough! The venue is incredibly spacious and truly transforms into a magical setting when decorated to match your theme. The food was absolutely amazing, and all my guests loved it. A huge thank you to Craig and head chef Kaitlyn for making everything perfect. It was such a pleasure to host my special day here! Five stars all the way!

Came in on a busy Thursday night for a steak and Guinness. Never regretted coming to Lakers. Food is excellent, service is top notch. Special shout out to Hazel and Ebony. They both told me it’s their first day, and they were naturals.

A big shout out to the prompt service food portions and the team routine on the patrons if everything ok, the tables are cleared up and reset the staff working ominously Please send recognition to staff Katrina and Kobe I did question how do they receive tips by phone transaction? They offered Team 5 stars card instead..
