On Murdoch Road in Perth's south east suburbs, The Lakers Tavern has been serving locals and visitors for years.
Known for being an old school pub, our spacious bistro has been updated to fit the box of your local. We're dedicated to bringing you delicious food in our Bistro, with a large dining area for you to share a meal with loved ones while enjoying a drop or two. After a long day, we went here for the first time and was greeted very genuinely by Zara!! She is truly so sweet and made coming here very good! We ordered the rump and scotch fillet and some chips, the chips were the best I’ve had and with very good aioli and red wine jus! Lemon lime bitters were also great! Will definitely come back.

Sometimes it can get a bit loud. But if the right crowd it adds to the atmosphere. Senior meals are good. Menu & pub grub is sssndard. But a bigger separate salad with separate dressing would be nice. I love the banter amongst the men in the sports bar. But it would be good to be served in the sports bar. Overall it’s a great community pub. Xxx

Pros: Good service, good food, reasonably priced, came out quick. Monday night, so place wasn’t packed, but was nice and warm, light background music, good atmosphere. Parking was easy, we are in a large camper-van with a trailer and still were able to find an easy park. Cons: Didn’t see any wheelchair/pram accessible entries around the front, had to lift and carry our pram up the stairs and back down upon exit. No signs displayed to advise of wheelchair accessible entry. Chicken schnitzel was not your standard schnitzel style, please read the menu properly before ordering. It wasn’t bad, but certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. I still ate it.

Guilherme is hands-down the best manager I’ve ever encountered! From the moment we walked in, his warmth, genuine kindness, and incredible attention to detail made our entire evening unforgettable. He greeted us and, checked on us personally several times, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Lakers Tavern is lucky to have him — Guilherme doesn’t just manage the place, he makes every guest feel welcomed. We’ll be back again! Thank you, Guilherme and team!
