Terrace area is doggie friendly and good to have dog owners and pooches chilling in with some great food. It has tapas style menu and easy to share. Food were delicious and fresh. Coming back with my pooches next time.
Have dined here for both dinner and breakfast. I have to say that we enjoyed our breakfast visit much more than dinner as it was better lighting during the day, not as crowded and less wait time. They offer good breakfast options with the big breakfast being the most valuable as it includes a coffee of choice. Everything served in the big breakfast was cooked and presented well with generous servings. Service was great with friendly staff at the ordering counter. The only thing that could be improved is the coffee. Both myself and my husband found the coffees (decaf flat white & long mac) to be quite bitter. After dining, enjoy a walk around the popular Hyde Park very close by which is also a great place for some photos.
Vegan food was the reason we came, but it wasn't great tasting. Sorry. This is a great sports bar though. They have some good screens, Craft beer... OK semi rant time. They do have a couple of choices. But it's mostly sours and weird milkshake beers. They don't really support local WA breweries with beers people will buy. It seems like a half measure. It's a woollies owned pub, with tap contracts. So you'll get all your favourite Japanese owned beers here. I just wish they'd sell a WA pale ale or lager.
The Hyde Park has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years, with the most noteworthy improvement being the food. The current menu is nothing short of exceptional, and the daily specials add an extra layer of allure. Our visit on Thursday, featuring Margs & Margs, was a culinary delight – a tantalizing combo of a margarita pizza paired with a spicy margarita cocktail, all for just $20. The pizza itself was a revelation – remarkably delicious, with a perfect balance of lightness and flavor. Surprisingly, I polished off the entire full-size pizza without feeling overly full or bloated. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; it's a culinary experience that shouldn't be missed.
Last week 16 of us ladies had lunch for a couple of birthday celebrations in the group at the Hyde Park Hotel. We all selected a different meals. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. Highly recommend will be back :)
