Hotel
•Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide is nestled in the heart of the city, amongst laneways and the new culture of bars, coffee shops and bistros. Located 15 minutes from the Adelaide Airport, and only a short stroll away from many of the cities’ scenic highlights including Adelaide Oval, Festival Theatre, Elder Park and Adelaide’s premium shopping destination- Rundle Mall - we really are at the centre of it all! Your Adelaide conference experience starts in one or more of our eight conference rooms, small meeting or breakout spaces, each with flowing fresh air and natural light. Don't expect a standard coffee break or a standard bowl of mints, that's not our style. Boring conference food, not with us. Timber boards laden with fresh South Australian produce welcome your guests for a seated lunch in Bistro Sixty5 or network with colleagues in the spacious pre-function area and outdoor balcony. Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide has made a commitment to source produce from locally owned and operated businesses that promote quintessential South Australia. This allows all guests to enjoy a bite-size piece of South Australia without ever having to leave the hotel's front doors. Produce and beverages come from regions such as the Barossa Valley, Fleurieu Peninsula, Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island. The Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide on Hindley boasts 220 well-appointed guest rooms. Located on the upper levels of the hotel, the Executive floors provide a stylish and contemporary option for both the business and leisure traveller. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Loved my stay here! The happy hour from 4–7pm at the bar is such a win — perfect way to kick off the evening. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Location couldn’t be better, right in the Adelaide CBD with loads of restaurants and bars just steps away. The pool looks really inviting, and the gym’s got a good mix of cardio and weights for a quick workout. Rooms are a little on the dated side, but honestly that’s a small thing compared to everything else. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in Adelaide — great vibes and great value!
Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide is an excellent choice for a comfortable city stay. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access shopping, restaurants, and major attractions. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, offering great comfort after a long day. Staff are professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. Facilities such as the pool and gym add extra convenience. Overall, it provides great value, quality service, and a pleasant experience in the heart of Adelaide.
The hotel is located close to many important places in the city: Rundle mall shops, entertainment centre, museums and Adelaide University. There are many decent restaurants around, including one in the hotel (haven't attended it). However, Hindley Street was quite dirty and unsafe with many drunks and beggars. The rooms are decent, but the furniture is a bit dated. The king bed was comfortable. The shower could have more pressure. It would have been nice to have some small plates. There amenities were great: pool, spa, sauna and a small gym. A solid 4 from me.
Rooms are not sound proof. Can hear all hindley street over the weekend. Resulting in little sleep. The breakfast you can only visit once a day. For gym or pool people you cant get a coffee then leave and come back when others wake up. No free coffee but what is in the rooms and house cleaning doesn't come until 1-3pm to refresh from the day before. For $$$ each night i know other places with better service and quater the price Sorry for this review its not normal of me. Just very expensive for not the.best sleep or service. The rooms clean and the sauna is great. Pool is not heated
Affordable and pleasant accommodation. The rooms were clean and tidy, the concierge were friendly and accommodating. And there's also a pool and sauna at no extra cost. The front bar (Sebastian's Bar) is a nice lounge to have a drink and relax. There's also a restaurant one level up, but I did not go there during my stay. Would recommend $-$$
