I cannot thank the team at the InterContinental Adelaide enough for their incredible support during a challenging week. I was unexpectedly stranded at the hotel for over a week, and the level of service and genuine care I received was world-class. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Kenneth, Arnab, Andrew, and Atin. They were extremely kind, considerate, and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and well-looked after during a stressful time. Their professionalism and empathy truly stood out. I also want to extend my gratitude to the entire team—from the concierge and reception desk to the housekeeping staff. Everyone treated me and my team with such warmth and attention to detail. The InterContinental Adelaide is a beautiful property, but it is the people who make it truly exceptional. If you are looking for a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests, look no further.
During an unexpectedly difficult moment while I was stranded at InterContinental Adelaide, I was fortunate to be surrounded by extraordinary people who turned a stressful situation into one of comfort and reassurance. Arnab, Andrew, Aitan, and Kenneth went above and beyond in every possible way. Their kindness was genuine, their attentiveness unwavering, and their willingness to help never felt obligatory—it felt heartfelt. Without being asked, they took care of my basic needs, checked in with sincere concern, and ensured that I felt supported and safe throughout. What stood out most was not just their professionalism, but their humanity. Each of them carried themselves with warmth, empathy, and grace, embodying the very highest standard of hospitality. Their actions left a lasting impression on me, and I will always remember how they stepped up when it truly mattered. Please accept my deepest thanks and compliments to Arnab, Andrew, Aitan, and Kenneth for their exceptional service. They are a true credit to the hotel and a wonderful example of what outstanding hospitality looks like.
We are having a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Adelaide. From the moment we arrived, the experience has been excellent. Andrew at the front desk welcomed us so warmly and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. He was friendly, professional, and attentive, and he took the time to ensure everything was smooth and comfortable for us. That first impression really set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly located. Outstanding service like Andrew’s makes a real difference, and we would happily stay here again.
This was one of the worst rooms i have ever stayed in. - Towels had yellow blotches/ stains on them. - the room had a very unusual smell - lights were flickering - there were stains on the carpet - there were stains on the couch Hoq does a hotel like this run?! I was forced to stay in faith, even after complaints were made. Not to mention for a longer stay than usual - they would not even move me, or even move me to a room with a decent view. This is a 1 star hotel at best! Absolutely disgusting!
I stayed at xmas amidst a fire evac. The handling left a bit to be desired. The hotel has many good features but try to get a requested reply from the General Manager is impossible. So public relations gets a zero from me.
