The food was exceptional from start to finish. The lobster was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor. Every seafood dish impressed, particularly the fish selections and the squid ink pasta, which were both beautifully executed and delicious. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a welcoming atmosphere that struck the perfect balance between lively and relaxed without being overly noisy. While every dish was outstanding, the tiramisu was the true highlight of the meal. Rich, delicate, and flawlessly balanced, it was quite simply the best tiramisu I have ever had.
Currently holidaying in Adelaide and decided to dine here. Overall the food was good and we enjoyed the experience. Hubby ordered the Seafood Chowder absolutely delicious, although one mussel hadn’t opened, so we mentioned it to the waiter just so the chef can check more thoroughly before serving. He also had the Half Lobster Thermidor which was nice, although a little average for the price. I ordered the Chilli Mussels. I was expecting a more vibrant rich tomato colour and flavour, but it was quite pale. Taste was still okay though. Big compliments to the lovely waitress who looked after us, she was so friendly, accommodating and made us feel welcomed throughout our visit ❤️ Unfortunately, the gentleman in the suit who showed us to our table came across a little grumpy which gave us a slightly awkward first impression. Overall still a pleasant dining experience while visiting Adelaide 😊
My husband and I dined at Sammy tonight, and I have to say, we were genuinely impressed. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the team’s attention to detail really stood out, especially Krisha. She recommended my meal, and it was absolutely delicious. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish.
My first visit to the cafe was on Valentine's Day. The location was beautiful and romantic. Some of the dishes I ordered were good, while others were not and did not justify their price. The staff were generally cheerful and friendly, but some were not very professional. One staff member brought our food and spilled olive oil on the table, but didn't clean it up, leaving the oil stain on the table, which negatively impacted our experience.
We booked dinner here on Saturday night. The service was exceptional but food was little of let down for me. I think its very over priced for seafood. Fish and chips for $46 and the Sammy's Oceans selection for $59. 2 small pieces of fish, 2 prawns, few piecesof grilled squids and chips, I dont know if my prawns are locally sourced. I felt dinner was not worth the value.
