Very disappointed with staff behind bar tonight 24/2, not at all friendly or helpful. It was $20 snitty night, I was told if I wanted the special to order it via the app. I proceeded to do that & it charged me full price $28 chicken snitty & gravy. Snitty dry, chips overcooked & gravy wasn't Maggi. Overall massive disappointment, when it was meant to be the start of a great week as flying overseas next day.

I attended with a group on Friday 19th June. On ordering from the menu, I noticed that the dishes offered were very different to the online menu. The food itself was fine, but can someone please explain why much of the online menu is not available at the Mile End Hotel?

Hello, we attended the hotel for dinner last night. There were 17 of us for my son's birthday. I would like to say that the service and food were exceptional. The staff went out of their way for us throughout the evening. The food was great and everyone was fulfilled. Will certainly come again and recommend to others. Please pass this on to the staff working on the evening of 25/11/25.

Came in for mothers day dinner and was very impressed. Staff were friendly, and helpful when we asked to move tables. Loved the sliders and that lemon meringue dessert was awesome and highly recommended.
Mortal Ambition
Need some staff behind the bar. Girl in gaming was on phone, looked at us then back down. Went to front bar. No service. Back to the back bar. No service. Twice. Could not find an employee in the middle of lunch service. Kitchen hand came out and quickly ran back in kitchen. The one girl on floor moved with 0 urgency after finally seeing us. I feel like a venue with TAB on two bars really needs an RP or employee to have eyes on bar at all times. Was pretty shocking, felt like no one worked here.
