No issues. Was a great time! Drinks were overpriced as usual sadly. Plenty of parking, bit confusing on where the main door (or which door gets you to dining) if you haven't been there before due to poor signage. Even the toilet signage is poor. I think I ended up using the sports bar toilet and not the dining area toilet. Now, in regards to the birthday card. This is a joke! You take the card to the counter to redeem the birthday special gift and they take the card from you and reuse it again. Which just means its dirty and used and a simple verbal offer at the table would be more professional. Maybe they should do actual vouchers instead of including the voucher within a card they are just going to take back anyway.

Nothing heals a rainy Sunday quite like a roast… and The Crown in Windsor understood the assignment. Light, fresh dining room, lovely service, and a pork roast so good I briefly considered ordering a second “for balance.” Washed it down with a crisp pint like a responsible adult, then absolutely demolished their tiramisu — purely for research purposes. 10/10 would let Sunday roast ruin my productivity again. 👏👏👏

I was really impressed with the Crown Hotel in Lutwyche. It’s been around forever, but the recent renovation has totally brought it back to life. You still get that old-school charm but now it’s got a fresh, modern vibe that works really well. The beer garden is awesome: spacious, leafy, and perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. There’s a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, and the layout feels open but still cozy. You can tell they’ve put thought into the design without making it feel overdone. The food surprised me in the best way. It’s classic pub grub but done properly. The menu has a good variety, including vegan and gluten-free options, which is great to see. It’s the kind of place where everyone at the table can find something they’re happy with. The staff were friendly and down to earth, which always makes a big difference. We didn’t have to wait long for anything, and even when it got busy, service still felt smooth and relaxed. All in all, it’s a solid local that’s had a really nice upgrade. Whether you’re catching up with friends over a few drinks, grabbing a casual meal or watching the footy in the bar, it’s just an easy place to enjoy yourself. I’ll definitely be back. I had lunch at the Crown Hotel in Lutwyche yesterday, ordering the Karaage chicken as a starter and the 250g rump steak for my main. The Karaage chicken was a generous portion but arrived slightly undercooked, which is always a concern with chicken. It was fair to average at best. The rump steak at $37 was unfortunately tough and came with chips that were more like undercooked wedges. The mushroom sauce, however, was very good. Overall, this was a disappointing and expensive pub meal that didn't deliver the value for money you would expect at that price point. I don't mind paying that price for a steak, but I expect it to be a higher standard. It is a lovely venue and the staff are very friendly. I hope it was just a one off experience with the meals.

Went to The Crown to watch the Australia vs Egypt World Cup game and was honestly very surprised to find the place open. Ended up being one of the best decisions of the morning! Big shoutout to Leo—his customer service was absolutely outstanding. Friendly, welcoming, and made sure everyone was looked after despite how busy it got. He really made the experience. Great atmosphere, cold drinks, and a top spot to catch the football. Will definitely be back. Cheers, Leo!
