We held our mid-year celebration here and had a fantastic experience. From the initial phone call through to the planning process, everything was handled smoothly. Despite me reaching out only a week out from the event, Nathan was responsive, clear, and solution-focused; especially when we had last-minute changes and unconfirmed numbers. On the night, Eve, Tahlia and the team were exceptional! They were friendly, professional, organised, and very accommodating. We chose the Asian buffet, and the food was delicious, plentiful, and served right on time. Personal favourite was the skewers 😋 Even when we realised some pre-selected drinks were from an older menu, the team still made them without any fuss, which made the night completely stress-free. The venue itself offers great indoor and outdoor seating options, with a warm and lively atmosphere to suit any occasion. Parking is a little more difficult, there is a 3hr parking available in walking distance from the restaurant; would recommend allowing enough time before your reservation for parking. No stairs required to get to the restaurant, wheelchair accessible! Highly recommend for large functions, intimate dinners, or even a date night. Great value for money!

From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated outside and the weather was lovely. It was a Saturday night and the music levels were at a nice level for conversation. We were offered drinks immediately which was refreshing. I could see tables of cocktails and drinks and imagine this place getting louder as the night goes on. Luckily for us we were quite removed from the bar area and this noise didn't affect our meal or atmosphere outdoors. The food was quite nice, particularly the Salmon and Chicken mains. The nachos were a little boring in flavour, but serving sizes were generous. Unfortunately they had run out of Beef Cheeks by the time we arrived for our 7pm booking which was a little disappointing. We left a tip as our wait staff had contributed greatly to our good experience and overall meal. Shortly afterwards, as we were getting ready to leave, they came by our table to thank us for dining and that's just a lovely thanks that isn't often received anymore. This place emanates local experience, professionalism and we are regulars.

Extensive menu, value for money, great atmosphere and location. Also we had THE BEST WAITRESS ever in Izzy. She is friendly yet professional, you could see her all the time watching the tables but never intrusive, always there when you needed her though. Thank you Izzy you are the best. From Saturday 5th September. Steph

Thank you for a very enjoyable experience thanks to the amazing customer service delivered by your quality staff. Along with a lovely young lady Izzy and others who delivered genuine, quality and professional service. And to the bar tender who made me an amazing expresso martini thank you all ❤️

Attended an educational dinner meeting at Fiction Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent—my entree was crispy and the main carefully prepared, and full of flavor. Every bite was satisfying. The waterfront setting added to the ambiance, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions. Service was good, and the overall experience was enjoyable. Definitely a great place to dine at Raby Bay Harbour!
