I Can see why this place is worth the hype. Great service, clean amenities, THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED, pillow menu, delish room service, fantastic shower, spacious rooms, so much to shop in the local area, Devine local bakeries. We loved our stay. MY only comment would be room service was 45-50mins both times we ordered which felt a little long, once for dinner once for a late lunch. Otherwise I can’t fault this place and look forward to retuning.
I had such a great experience at this bar. The customer service was amazing from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and really attentive without being overbearing. They made sure we were comfortable, checked in at the right times, and were happy to answer questions about the drinks and menu. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and the team made the whole night feel easy and fun. It is clear they care about giving customers a positive experience. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for great drinks, good vibes, and excellent service.
I can see what the Calile has such a good reputation. A beautiful hotel and atmosphere - stayed for 4 days and had a great time. The rooms have every feature to make your stay comfortable and peaceful. Despite many events going on at the hotel - it was quiet and private. Dined at Hellenika, breakfast by the pool and all the cocktails, coffee were all excellent. Service was exceptional from start to finish and complemented the experience perfectly.
The rooms are genuinely lovely — very clean, beautifully maintained, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. One of the best hotel sleeps I’ve ever had. The staff are kind, professional, and consistently welcoming, and the breakfast offering is genuinely delicious with great-quality food. Unfortunately, the shared amenities fall far short of the hotel’s luxury positioning. The pool was an overpopulated nightmare — at one point there were easily 20+ screaming kids, alongside groups of drunk adults shouting in the pool, creating an atmosphere that felt like a spring break party scene rather than a luxury retreat. After a 3-hour drive, it was impossible to find a seat or sun lounger — not a single spot available to relax. We also witnessed a parent casually changing a soiled diaper at the very edge of the pool, in full view of guests. The overall experience felt closer to a Vegas hotel or a budget cruise than a considered, high-end environment. The gym is beautiful in design, just like the rest of the hotel but impractical for most users. There are no machines — only free weights and squat racks. The setup is clearly tailored to CrossFit-style training, not to the broader expectations of a luxury hotel gym. A simple and effective improvement would be a timed sun-lounger reservation system, ensuring every guest gets a fair opportunity to relax and enjoy the pool. In the end we had to go work out at another gym and also use the pool there to escape the chaos at the Calile pool. We were incredibly excited to stay here, but ultimately left disappointed by the pool and gym experience. Everything else is excellent — the hotel simply needs to bring the same level of thought, hospitality, and planning to its shared amenities.
We went here for our wedding anniversary and I had high hopes. As we just had pizza a few days earlier we decided each on a pasta dish which said 'handmade pasta' and I thought this would justify the high price for over $50 per main. But unfortunately there was nothing special about the handmade pasta dish. A package bought pasta wouldn't have tasted different and the dish was ordinary in general. Maybe the pizzas are better. There was nothing that let me think I want to come back.
