The Ship Inn offers a fantastic multipurpose conference centre for corporate groups & events. Located on our second level, our conference centre has an enclosed private conference space with full AV facilities including 3 large LED screens, microphones and lectern. It also adjoins our beautiful deck overlooking the South Bank arbour for breakout sessions and food breaks.
We also cater to private functions and events. We offer flexible catering and bar packages that can be tailored to all groups. The space has its own enclosed function room and adjoining Queensland style verandah overlooking the South Bank arbour with a private bar. We look after:

We came as a large group on a Wednesday night. The service was great and the atmosphere of this nostalgic building is really lovely. Most of the meals service were very tasty especially the Asian ones. The pork roll though was soggy and fatty so wouldn't order that again. However the value for money was great.

One of the best service. Our waiter was full of life, energy and good vibes, just made the dining experience better in every way. Food was tasty and decent portions. I would recommend this place.

Great customer service staff very friendly and attentive. Great spot just over the Southbank goodwill bridge. Seat for drinks with no reservation on a Saturday night, specials board $13.50 cocktails (Moscow mule, aperol spritz and mojito) and $11 pints of super dry. Will be back again!

Feeling a little nostalgic this Sunday. So I walked until I found a spot doing a fish n chips. Well, I'm happy to say that this spot does the best in town! Atmosphere is great here. Music is not too loud. Place was plenty busy even at 1:30 o'clock in the afternoon. But I had no trouble finding a table in the shade. The waitresses are well mannered and I've got no complaints. This is a good spot for a lazy afternoon or for a bigger table. I shall have to return and try more of the menu I think

Organised a birthday party here with 23 people and the team were so accommodating! All my strange requests for staplers, decorations and random questions, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Food was great, so quick and fresh and from their farm. Table service and staff were amazing. Back and forth emails, prompt replies. I’m so grateful for Pete and Finn and all the other staff that I didn’t get their names, truely thank you from the bottom of my heart. A phenomenal venue and people.
