I had the pleasure of staying at this Hotel for 4 months. Excellent location with every amenity you could want within a 5 minute walk. The Hotel is clean, and well appointed for extended stays, including a washer and dryer in the room, as well as a full size refrigerator and kitchenette. The Staff is professional and friendly. I didn’t have any issues here at all, during my entire 4 month stay. I highly recommend the Meriton Suites in Canberra.

From the moment I made the booking the meriton staff were magnificent. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful and great to interact with. Our one bedroom suite was clean, spacious and great value for money. The apartments location is excellent, a short stroll to shops and restaurants. We could not fault anything.

Meriton Suites is situated in a great location walking distance to shops, the War Memorial and Lake Burley Griffin. It is also very central to all bus stops which makes easy to get to anywhere in Canberra. The staff were friendly and efficient. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for 7 nights and chose not to have the apartment serviced during our stay, however, any time we needed our amenities replenished, we simply called down to hotel reception and requested what we needed and it was sent up to our room. They have a QR code in the room which has some useful information on it, including the complimentary items you can request to your room. The room itself was spacious with all the items you would expect in a serviced apartment. The balcony was large and had great views and we were even joined by a friendly cockatoo during lunch on the balcony. The gym is well equipped with another great view and the pool is nice too. We were lucky enough to stay over the new year period and we even got views of the fireworks from our balcony.

Wonderful staff and service. The room was lovely, beds comfortable, kitchen and utensils with pots available for cooking. An actual full size fridge freezer and not a mini fridge. Comfortable lounge and just the right size for a one bedroom. Hospital cleaning staff and lastly, the pool, sauna and gym with a great view of Canberra central.

The one bedroom apartment is a spacious well stocked home away from home. Centrally located within walking distance of CBD shops and close to the casino. Friendly helpful reception staff. Finally a nice view from our balcony. Beats staying in a single hotel room costing the same money per night.
