We recently stayed here for a couple nights. The room was quite spacious and well kept, also loved the bonus of having a washer and dryer. We dined in the restaurant each night we stayed and the food was amazing and the service was even better. The staff were so kind, caring and friendly. I would recommend staying and dining here. Please note that the accommodation is only accessible via stairs.

We had our daughters 21st at the Metropolitan last night 13/6/2026 and I could not fault a thing. The platters were amazing and great value for money. They seen we were getting the cake ready and brought a knife straight over for us to use. Every single one of the staff there were lovely and so accomodating. 10 out of 10 would recommend this venue for a function or even just to dine.

The staff at the Metropolitan Hotel were exceptionally kind, friendly, and accommodating. The accommodation is extremely clean and comfortable; we will definitely be returning. No problem is too big for them to handle. The kids loved playing on the round pool table, making it a very family-friendly environment for children of all ages. We highly recommend the accommodation. The manager on duty tonight, Shazza, deserves 100% praise. We need more people like those here in the world. Well done to everyone at the Metropolitan Hotel for the great team effort.

We had the two bedroom unit, which was enormous. Full kitchen, laundry and decent beds. Modern TV'S with all the apps, which actually work and ok wifi. Only wishes I had was i wish someone would clean the shower! Just about every hotel we've been they've all had dirty bathrooms. Also the stairs are a death trap. But alot harder to fix

Been going here for a while. I love their crumb steak. But recently the food has been average and poor in portions sizes. I have been and spoken to people about this and even one person said yes it was nothing in it. As of now, we won’t be back after what our portion sizes were. There’s barely anything vegetables and a ridiculous size container for a salad.
