Enjoyed an absolutely incredible stay at Oscar's. The room was lovely and the staff were kind and friendly, and extremely accommodating. Easily the best hoteliers I've encountered. Would definitely recommend to vegans as the staff were happy to make my partner a vegan-specific breakfast with a delicious mix of vegetables and homemade baked beans every morning. The staff were also super helpful with suggesting local activities, providing hiking and restaurant recommendations.

We absolutely love staying here! This was our second visit and equally as good as our first experience. Christine is a wonderful host and the breakfast crew were equally amazing. We find this guest house to be so relaxing and comfortable. The interior is beautiful! The grounds are gorgeous and immediately sent us into 'relaxation' mode. Hope to visit again sometime soon, we love it!!!

Oscars is a very peaceful location to stay with a warm and welcoming host in Christine. We only stayed 2 nights but will be back as the area is very beautiful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable with large rooms throughout the accommodation to relax in. Breakfast and coffee are prepared on request and the ambience for breakfast overlooking the Yarra is quite special - the weather wasn't on our side but it didn't matter. We highly recommend Oscars

A cozy, quiet stay nestled in the valley. Generous breakfast included in cost of stay with housemade granola, yogurt, mixed berries and orange juice on offer, as well as a hot plate with your choice of scrambled or poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms, spinach, tomato, beans and the most delicious, soft, buttered sourdough. Hard to believe that this romantic place is less than an hour and a half’s drive from chaotic central Melbourne. There is a platypus in the river running through the back of the property (ask the staff where to go at twilight and about clapping your hands to hopefully catch a rare sighting). A special thanks to the lady who accommodated our late check-in after 8pm. The accommodation is next to the charming town of Warburton and a 30-minute drive to the main wineries of the Yarra Valley including Chandon, Rochford & Boat O’Craigo. A peaceful, calm place for nature-lovers.

We had a wonderful stay, beautiful location, comfortable room, the shower was sensational. Loved being able to sit down by the river and listen to the birds. Brian’s breakfast was delicious. Will definitely come again 😊
